The tall preteen stood on the porch, two bundles of flowers in his hands, a glove over his stone hand, and knocked on the door. It was lucky that he looked far older than his true age, almost like a teen, rather than the preteen he was, because the girl, no, young woman he was visiting had recently grown, something he didn't know. The first bundle was for her mother, and the second for Flerida.
Serene, the silver eyed boy was wearing tight, faded jeans, belted low on his hips, and a purple shirt with the sleeves torn off, two holes for his lower arms also torn open. It was unbuttoned to about his stomach, to reveal his meditation tattoo.
It had been around a week since their last encounter, and he wished he'd been able to stop by sooner, but his father had him working with him, and there was no way to come see her. Hopefully, she'd remember him.

Everyone in the household heard the distinctive sound of knuckles rapping against wood. The two feline creatures didn't so much as stir and continued to lounge about near the window. Huni and Flerida were both seated in the kitchen slash dining room, each holding a mug of their preferred beverage.
With a sip of her coffee, Huni turned to the door. "Who could that be?" she murmured.
Flerida instinctively stood, her wings carefully tucked behind her to avoid knocking over things. It had been a trying week for the teen, her talons were sharper and she ended up ripping her bed sheets on the night she grew. Her wings, while beautiful to look at, were as clumsy in movement as Flerida always thought herself to be. "I'll get it." She offered.
"Go ahead." The red-head nodded, returning her attention back to the coffee.
With light, careful steps, Flerida made her way to the door to greet the visitor. An involuntary squeak of delight and surprise came when she saw it was Ravji. Instinctively she half-hid behind the door, a little embarrassed by her reaction.
"Ji! What a pleasant surprise, come in." she found the words tumbling out of her mouth. No! No! Huni's home! She realized a little too late. "What lovely flowers." she smiled despite knowing the impending amoutn of teasing her guardian would be making.

Ravji's pretty face was lit by a charming grin at Flerida's reaction, and he stepped inside, holding out one bundle of flowers as he got a good look at her, and widened his eyes.
"You're gorgeous."
Another smile, and he ran a human finger along one of her feathers, before heading into the kitchen area, and giving the second bundle to her mother.
"Miss Huni, you look fetching today!"
He was pleased Flerida had gained the wings she'd dreamed of.

The teen crimsoned, as was her normal reaction to praise. "Thank you, Ji." she stammered, accepting the bouquet and breathing in the wonderful scent. Her wings twitched slightly at the light touch, they seemed very sensitive despite their size. Knocking things over sometimes hurt the fable.
A cheshire-like grin spread across Huni's face as she heard the voices coming from the door. "Why thank you, Ravji. I'll go get a vase, and leave you two alone. Don't do anything to make me a grandmother, alright?" She chuckled, taking both her bundle and Flerida's before disappearing out of the kitchen.
Flerida had a blank expression, what did Huni mean by that? Shaking her head, she headed towards the cabinets "Can I get you anything, Ji?" she asked.

A goodnatured chuckle from Ravji was his response to Huni's cheeky statement, and rested against one of the kitchen counters.
"The only thing I came here for is your company."
A slow smile as his silver eyes ran over her, and he opened and closed a hand, looking thoughtful.
"Still getting accustomed to your new form...?"

At his words, a thousand butterflies seemed to have taken residence in Flerida's stomach. She retrieved a mug for Ravji, her back turned to the pre-teen to hide the shy smile on her lips.
"I can't imagine why," She murmured, pouring the juice into the mug. "I'm still not entirely comfortable with the changes, my talons are sharper and my wings keep knocking things over."
With a sigh, she placed the drink before Ravji and sat down. It took a few moments before she noticed he was wearing a glove in one hand.
The same hand she had accidentally turned to stone.
"Why are you-?" she trailed off, her golden gaze resting on the piece of clothing.

"Ah..."
He peeled off the glove, revealing that his forarm was still made of a stone that was apparently onyx. He flexed his fingers, to show that they worked as if alive, and smiled.
"I thought it might upset you, so I covered it."
A fluid shrug from his top arms, and he reached out with a tan hand to sip from the mug. He hadn't asked for a drink, but he wasn't about to refuse it.
"Shall we go for a walk, Flerida?"
He seemed completely unconcerned with his hand.

Flerida was visibly upset to find Ravji's arm was still stone. Despite how it seemed that it functioned like it was still made of flesh, the teen couldn't help but feel terrible.
"My sleeve had returned to normal, I just thought your arm would be too..." Her brows curved into worry as she reached out to gently rest her hand on his.
Flerida heard his suggestion and nodded, rising from the table a little too hasitly, her wings toppling over the chair with a loud clatter. "Oh dear!" She moaned, bending down to right the fallen piece of furniture.

Before she could even lift the chair, Ravji had, with only his stone hand, and no visable effort. Apparently, it was quite strong.
"No matter, Flerida. It is now a part of me."
A charming grin, as if thanking her for the 'gift' and he put the chair back, going to wash his mug, and put it away in the cupboard he'd seen her get it from.
"Where shall I take you?"

Slightly relieved at the change of subject, Flerida pondered her answer. She recalled the trail she had met Briar on, and perhaps that leads elsewhere? Out of Hameln? She knew she wouldn't dare visit it alone, perhaps, if Ravji was willing he could accompany her there.
"There is a road, a different road from where we met. It leads out of Hameln, I believe. I want to see if the end looks similar to the one where we met." She suggested, eyes shyly downcast.

They didn't get too far along on their walk, before seeing a path torn through the trees, across the dirt road they walked on. Obviously something very large, and dangerous, had come this way, cutting across their intended direction of travel. Ravji paused, frowning, and opened his mouth to say something, when they heard a howl, and a large wolf burst from the bashed foilage, and ran across the road, at a lightning pace. Her eyes, and nails were a sparkling blue.
"Medeine."
Ravji stared as she disappeared, obviously tracking the large thing that'd come by, shortly before he and Flerida had arrived.
"We've got to follow her, Flerida. She might need help."
