- I got the new Evanescence album, The Open Door, a week and a half before it came out in stores.
I rock.

In my opinion the album is much more mature than their previous 2000 release of Fallen, and ANY other bootlegged song I've managed to get my hands on, ever. Amy's voice sounds gorgreous, after what seemed like a bit of vocal lessons, and the lyrics are much more mature. I can quote her in an interview on the album that she, in the Fallen album, was simply 'wallowing' in her pain etc, but is now more mature and more able to tackle her problems, and Call Me When You're Sober definetly illustrates that very well: her breakup with Seether frontman, who's name escapes me for the moment, definetly reflects in the song. It also shows off the album's maturity in the way she said it was mature: her tackling her problems and getting rid of things that are bad for her, taking control.
And that's my more-than-two cents.

Do you even like Evanescence?
Are your musical choices totally different?
Do you hate the group with a passion?
etc.
