Kerry looked down at the piece of cloth, "What's this for?" she asked, then remembered her tears. She wiped her face, then handed it back, "Thanks." she muttered, then set about searching the surrounding forrest for traces of who ever, or whatever had done this to her home.

With a soft smile Bri watched Kerry wipe her tears before returning the sash. "we'll find out who did this Kerry, between me and my horse, we'll help you, you shouldn't have to do it alone." Bri said kindly. Bri's attitude had changed in the short time she had been in the company of this girl.

Kerry looked up from her investigation of the ground and peered into the eyes of the older girl, "Do you know how to look for tracks?" she asked, face as expressive as a stone.

Bri sighed as she thought about her past, "I was trained as a ranger...once" she replied, "but its been years"

"If you know, look for strange tracks." she ordered, sounding much older than she looked. She herself went back to focusing on the ground at her feet, touching it on occasion, and using her sense of smell to confirm or deny a theory she might have had on one set of tracks or another.
