I really need some out side input on this topic. I was trying to give someone advice about a boy and it turned into a christian bashing all out slam. Soon my age made me not credable even though the oldest person there was only 4 years older than me. Please go into my profile and click on my forems and read some of the things that were said. Then give me feedback as to if i was to strong or if i was correct in defending what i believed in.

The other guy in that thread knew what he was talking about. We all have our views on the same faith. You kept telling him that he was wrong, but in a beating-around-the-bush way, whether you noticed it or not. sweatdrop He is no more correct than you. So, you actually fought with each other over something neither of you are going to give in to. So, that entire arguement was completely useless. 3nodding
You believe what you believe and same with him. Just let it go. Forgive and forget.

Honestly...it seems like you sort of started a fire with him for no reason.
I didn't see the guy you were arguing with bashing Christianity beyond the fact that he might have had slightly different beliefs than you. I think you need to realise that there's a difference between defending your faith and being a**l about something for no real good reason.

I never did bring up my faith all i did was state some people who waited for sex till marriage. this is well known information. I do not have a problem with his views and i never once told him to convert or to see things my way what bothered me was the total lack of respect in the whole conversation.

followed by a non enthusiatic (in my eyes) woopty-do... anways there is no problem with defending your faith... and i thought it was pretty useless fighting there when i read but i dont have naything to add that hasnt already been said except a scripture verse.... 1 Timothy 4:12 "Dont let others look down on you because you are young but be an example to all believers in faith in life in love in purity"

First of all, man cannot judge you and tell you whether or not what you did was right; only God can judge you. Just to let you know, almost no matter what you say, someone will be offended. So don't be surprised when someone is. The best thing I can really say is ask God. It is difficult for us to explain something to someone, especially on these forums, which lack tone, meaning, intent, etc.
