Iris !tFj8DP0Frs Even if this doesn't come to pass, the $600 price tag is more than enough to scare me away. They wouldn't do that. If they did they would be cutting their profits a whole llot. No game rental outfit would buy PS3 games if they would only work once. If gamers can't rent games, (either to see if they'll want to buy them in the future or just to rent them again and again) the appeal of the PS3 goes down dirastically. Who wants to shell out 60+ bucks for a game that turns out bad. Many distributors wouldn't allow refunds, because they would lose money on a game that couldn't be resold later. I will buy the PS3, but not for a year or even two, my PS2 works fine, and the price is way too high. I may buy the games though so I'm not hunting for games I want to play, that aren't around. Also since I plan on buying a PS3 eventually, I'll have a library of titles all ready for when I do.

I'm not even going to bother with buying it. X-box 360 has a better variety of games. Plus SvR 2007 will be out for it and RE 5. I think it's way over priced and I'm not shelling out 600$ for a peice of crap gaming system. I would rather put that money into my custom made computer when I start to make it. Plus sony really has a lot of crap to work out since the whole system melted down when they tried to make the games work on it.
I'm not even going to waste my time with this one.

Tuffeddie The PS3 is going to suck scream , i mean yeah its going to have amazing graphics and had a lot of memory on the discs and everything but Sony isnt thinking of anything new its basiclly the Xbox 360 and they changed the controller from a boomerang to a Xbox 360/Wii controller. The PS2 is allready dead and the PS3 is going to die even faster cuz its just a waste of money to get a PS3 when its basically the same thing as the PS2 but it has better graphics and just cuz games have good graphics doesnt mean its going to be a good games. stare

>.< I was thinking of getting the PS2 when the PS3 comes out actually. (No, I don't have any system other then a DS, a few SPs and my laptop. Pity me! (j/ks)). Even my bf who works at EB and can probably get a discount, thinks it's expensive. $600 is a bit pricy. And plus I heard that the games are going to cost about $100. And so, I don't think buying a PS3 will happen anytime soon. Plus the fact my parents hate videogames, so it'll have to wait until I move out, in a year or so.

To expensive seems to be the consensus so far. I wonder why Sony is pricing this thing so high? Has anyone seen any articles related to this subject?
Games at $100...ouch.
