Adanna moved along through the swaying sea of gold with a light heart. She and Nukta were going to leave and start traveling again...she somehow it set her mind more at ease then she realized it would. The pridelands were beautiful, but it's constant wonder and unchanging nature just...couldn't satisfy Ada's needs. She wanted to live life to the fullest...and she didn't feel she was doing it here.

With a grin she took in her surroundings, soaking it up in a fond memory. This place may not have been paradise for her, but she wanted to remember it fondly. This was where she had bore her children and where they were going to stay when she left. Feeling a rush of energy throb through her body she started to bound forward, racing over the landscape.

The sun's warm rays caressed her tawny fur as the lioness quietly stalked through the landscape. There was always something to see, and she was in no hurry. Her tail flicked quietly across the grass as she walked, a quiet yawn escaping her. Golden eyes washed over the land scape ahead of her, and on the figure in the distance that was growing steadily closer. It hadnt been long since she lad left Kenai's company to venture into the pride lands and she was somewhat surprised to see another so quickly.

Pausing the lioness sat back on her haunches, her tail curling around her feet. "Greetings." She said softly to the stranger, wondering if she would continue to run by her or stay to chat for awhile. She wondered where this one was goign in such a hurry, she had an air of excitement about her, an air of blooming adventure....

Adanna slowed her pace when she saw herself nearing another lioness. By the time she was in earshot she had come to a nice, easy lope, though energy still radiated from her being. She was the type of person who looked like they never grew tired and always had to do something to keep themselves busy. She grinned widely, her tail swishing sharply to the side. Her firey eyes flashed with curiousity, "Hey there!" Her voice was confident, as was her posture and she talked to the other female as if she were greeting an old friend, not a stranger.

Ayo chuckled softly, lightly cocking her head to the side. "Pleasure to meet you, Im Ayo." she said as she stood lightly shaking the grass from her fur. She streched lazily and yawned again. Right about now she felt as if she could use the lioness' seemingly endless supply of energy. "May I ask where you are going?" she asked, with no particular place to go herself she wondered if, even for a little while she might tag along with this stranger, and perhaps make another friend in the process.

"I'm Adanna, though Ada's good," she replied with a nod of her head. It was a wonder the female could stand still. But it was possible she had lots of practice in holding back her desires to bound off if she was like this for her entire lifetime. "I'm just wandering around a bit," she informed Ayo simply. "Drinking in the area I guess you could say." She didn't explain what she meant, mainly because she didn't think much of it. "What about you?" She questioned with a sharp tilt of her head.

Ayo giggled softly. "Its a pleasure to meet you Ada... Im Ayo." she said, still smiling. Her tail lightly flicked as stood up, looking deeper into the pride lands. "Hmm, Not much...just wandering...our having an adventure.... No particular place to go." she shrugged her shoulders and lightly giggled. "Would you mind if I went with you, perhaps some of your enthusiasim will rub off on me. "

"Nice to meet ya," she said with a nod of her head. Her ears twitched forward confidently and her tail swtiched to the side in thought. It was only for a few moments though, for soon she rolled her shoulders in a shrug, "Suit yourself." She grinned widely though, "Just make sure you can keep up." It was a friendly challenge, but a challenge none the less. One would think a lioness who had two adult children almost at adulthood would be beyond such things but...Ada clearly was not.

Ayo smirked softly a sly smirk crossing her face. "I'm sure I can, but lets see...." she said with a chuckle. Her tail flicked playfully behind her, and she could tell already that this was going to be an interesting day. Ayo didnt know when they would part ways, or if she truely keep up with the pace Ada would set, but it was bound to be fun along the way. "Ready when you are." she said, smirking.

And there would be no mercy for Ada, or at least not in that sense. If Ayo couldn't keep up she couldn't keep up. The firey lioness drove a hard bargan, but it was her way. She lived life to the fullest extent that she could reach. Little things like this were no exception. Besides...it was more fun if she could see what Ayo could do. "Right...don't fall behind!" She sprang forward with a great leap pulsing with energy and began to race across the lush grasses.

Ayo chuckled softly as the lioness sprang up and like she was a spirit of the wind herself began to race across the plains. For but a moment she wondered what she might have gotten herself into but she sprang forward as well her paws thundering across the ground after the fellow lioness. She smiled and laughed as she ran, her lungs heaved within her chest and her heart pounded. She smiled though she hadnt felt this sort of exhileration in many months.

She was slower than her compainion but she was quick enough to keep her in view, she wasnt about going to use a burst of speed to catch up only to be left behind again. Slowly she was closing the gap between them and that was good enough for her.

Adanna laughed as well, feeling a strong sense of life coursing through her body. She hadn't felt this sense of competition in a long time! It was thrilling! Feeling as if she were young again and racing through the landscape with Nukta she smiled, every patter of her paw upon the warm ground a beat of her heart. They raced over the landscape, passed herds of zebra and water buffalo. It seemed almost like she'd never stop, like she never could. But as the watering hole came into view she turned and sloped, feeling a breeze run through her fur.

Ayo body began to burn as her muscles screamed at her, It had been along time since she had ran so far or so fast. She was breathless and was thankful for the little stop as the lioness before her paused at the watering hole. She smiled, breathless and winded, even though she was tired already she was having a great time. She drank her fill from the watering hole, the cold water was blessedly welcome.

"Ahh.." she said as she raised her head. "Nothing is better than cold water after a bit of a run." she commented.
