As the marching season goes on, I actually drink LESS water. You see, I'm up here in Oregon, where it's wet and cold. We do sweat, and work a ton, but since band camp in August, I've got down from a 1 gallon jug, down to a 16.9 oz bottle.
As for food, our band can be seen eating fast food before almost every practice. But, at comps, they always have mostly fruit and veggies with them. Well, untill you factor in GA's and concessions XD
Weight wise, I'm about the same. I eat near non-stop, but march near non-stop too.

my band has camelbaks issued to us as well. i take a bottle of water to school too so the water won't overwhelm me at practice. i eat a lot less dairy foods during the season cuz if you drink milk and stuff it curdles in your stomach and you throw up. as my friend says, marching band is lactose-intolerant. xd
