Any one else think they suck latly? They are trying to focus on gx to much with its hero stuff...then villans...now neos T___T atleast there was one bug....but he kinda sucks >.< The panther sounds a good card though any one got one ?:3

I agree. Theres no variety anymore...For the past like 5 sets, its been all about Heroes. I've never liked them. They should make one theme per set, that way, when someone doesn't like a theme, they don't have to live with it for like...a year or so.

The problem with the Hero support is all about their abilities. It wouldn't be so bad if we had Heroes with the stats and abilities to be comparable to like... Jinzo or Cyber Dragon. But all the Heroes that they put out are way to situational or they're just not good. They wouldn't be so bad if they had good abilities. The Neo Spacians are a good step, but they aren't enough. Black Panther has potential, as does Aqua Dolphin and their fusions, but they're still no where near the cards that you see played competitively.
As for the game following the show, I agree. Before G/X, the show kind of followed the cards. Like, cards would be released and then the show would impliment them. Still, if you think back to the origins of YGO, it all started with the manga. Then the cards were made based on the manga, which spawned the show.
Point is: Either Konami needs to stop with the Heroes, or make some that are actually useful.
