I love the game, and I've been trying to unlock some achievements. Only problem is, I want to avoid the escort missions as they're a huge pain in the a**. One problem, I'm a sucker for doing the right thing. I'm passing by "the lovers" and I hear the crippled guy's girlfriend crying. I cringe, and go back to pick them up. I did the same with a wimpering fat man, and the girl you have to save from the convicts. I also tend to feel sad for the survivors I kill just to avoid hearing from them from the scoop tracker. It kills me to be forced into the most annoying missions in the game, but I just can't stand letting anyone, including a retarded A.I controlled character, from being left behind.

Damn these morals and my subconsious!

I've gotten the Saint achievment (Which was annoying because the A.I. you mentioned.)

Since I've finished that up I just let the survivors die, and/or I kill them myself.

Unfortunately I'd probably do that in real life if zombies had showed up. Trusting people is too hard.
