for ages my favourate thing to eat was toasted sandwiches from my toasted sandwich maker. But I recently lost my toastie maker so I had to do the fry pan thing only every time I made them the sandwiches would stick to the pan. now I have discovered the secret. Instead of spraying the frypan then buttering the bread with butter or marg I discovered that if I butter the bread with nuttalex (non dairy marg) that sandwich just slides around the pan.
horray for non-stuck sandwichs

mine don't stick either, and i've always done them the American way in a pan. other people think i'm crazy when they see me doing it, it's not something that the average Brit has ever seen rolleyes the only time my bread sticks is if i use wholemeal, that just doesn't crisp like white bread does sad
