Defense Mechanisms


Power Absorbing Crystals
PAC-x78

These are also refered to as necron.

These crystals work on one, simple principal. A magic user is only as good as the magic said uses. This principal is turned right on its heels as this crystal emits a magic-reduction field. After careful study, it was discovered that the crystals actually absorb magical energies, latent or active, that come within the emitted field. This causes the crystals to release energy and heat. If not harnessed, the crystals only produce heat. A large crystal will, eventually, shatter.

It was discovered that fragmented pieces cool very quickly. This led to the second developmental phase. The initial PAC-x78 is ground to near powder form.

PAC-x79

Once ground, the crystal has nearly zero cooling time. A human blowing on it will actually cause a pile of ground-up crystal to cool very rapidly. This is why the crystal powder was put into armor and paint base.

PAC-080

This is the armor base. It is the most durable and stable form. The armor is easily ventaliated and/or cooled, and it is able to made as thick or thin as required per vehicle.

PAC-081

This is the paint base. It's not quite as stable as the armor base, but it's far more stable than the solid crystal. It's used to paint over the armor of already "in service" vehicles. It can get hot enough to actually "melt" off the armor.

Attack Mechanisms


Electro-Magnetic Pulse Cannon
FEMP-0907

General Ganale loving refers to the FEMP-0907 as the ion cannon.

Contrary to the nickname, this cannot doesn't actually cause damage on its own. The intelligent use of it, however, does. It is highly magnetically shielded to prevent the EMP from going in any direction but the desired one. Simply put, it attacks unidirectionally. Where we aim it, it goes. Need I say more? It produces a nuclear-grade electro-magnetic pulse...without the nasty side-effects. Why? It uses six, read'em, six highly powerful electro-magnets to create pulse that can fry even most sheilding.

In case you don't know, EMPs = BAD for electronics. In fact, an EMP generator of this magnetude could easily put an entire fleet out of commission for a good, long time. It's called the ion cannon because it makes you unable to fight back with all that pretty high-technology of yours. Basically, your technology = pwnt.

The Parts:

DP-0907
, or directional shaft, is a vital component. It has absolutely no moving parts. All it, effectively, is is a huge piece of cylindricle armor. It is nearly a football field long, and the single opening is where the EMP "wave" exits to fry whomever it happens to be aimed at. The extremely heavy sheilding will not allow the Seafoam Navy, Marines, or anybody backing them up to be fried by their own weapon.

TP-0907, or turbine shaft, is simple and common. Afterall, all hydro-electric dams use turbines to create electricity. This is no different. This piece powers the essential, and next, piece.

EP-0907, or electro-magnetic encasement, is what actually drives this device. This is where the six uber-high powered electro-magnets are housed to create the EMP "wave" to knock that smug grin off your face. You do not want to face down the ion cannon, prepared or not. Regular EMP shielding is not enough. This is like concentrating a solar flare so close to the Earth that no electronic device would survive into a concentrated waveform with less dispersal power and lasting effect. The EMP created is so powerful, that there is actually a visible, electric field.

CP-0907 were not in the original, original specifications. They were known to be needed, however. This "piece" is actually four to six modified frigates of the Seafoam Navy. They have the towing capacity to drage this heavy ion cannon from its "resting" place, at the Floating Naval Ship Yards, to any point of Seafoam defense in no less than fifty-six seconds and no more than one-minute and thirty-five seconds (to be decided at Chris' discreation).

Note of Warning: Any Electric Master or Elemental User attempting to use the EMP "field" will find their powers severely dampened. You will note that magnets and electrical forces don't quite mix as well as cartoons or anime would have you believe. In fact, Electric Masters are highly advise to stay out of the FEMP-0907's way!

Name: Nanimo Ryuu (aka: Nanimoryuu)

Gender: Female

Age: By appearance, Nanimo doesn't seem older than twenty or thirty. Her 'age' cannot be determined.

Description: Though a fair bit of reconstruction had to go into the body, the technical expertise of Sam, even with the technological limitations Seafoam had to the obvious advancements present in Project K, has been able to revive the blueprint nearly to the original specifications. The idea of object manifestation through some sort of teleportation system could not be realized, but the body limitations could actually be raised thanks to the special energy present through Masters. The body has been constructed to its original appearance, down to the very last nanometer. It might make a woman jealous to build such a beautifully constructed android, but it just made Sam feel more like a mother.

If one were to ask Sam, she might say she tried to reconstruct Nanimo to more resemble her own natural beauty. She decided that the body frame had to be delicately tuned for the enhanced detail work, including weapons and armor systems. The original armor, including helmet, have met some redesign in the rebuild process, but they retain most of their original shape. The body is, after all, flexible and strong enough as is to handle most anything thrown at it. There are some features Sam couldn't quite figure out. Why are Nanimo's eyes red? Why do they shift to blue when the 'black box' becomes unusually active? Why does her silver-blue hair shift when the new phantasmal armor is motivated?

Likes: If Nanimo were asked what she liked, she might respond, "Samus Joan Lovefelter." It is unknown if she has any more attachments or 'likes' than what has been programmed as her prime directive. It's unknown why a person must be her prime directive.

Dislikes: Nanimo has one simple answer to any question to what she dislikes. She is hostile towards them after all. Enemies.

Weapons:
Multi Phase Core Delivery System (MPCDS) - This is Nanimo's weapons' delivery system. As of the moment, she has three weapons that can be Phase Core Shifted (PCS). A PCS is, simply put, difficult to explain. To all outward appearances, it appears to be either teleportation or the manifestation of a pre-designed weapon. It's untrue to say either is correct or incorrect.
  • R-Sword - This PCS requires the least energy and time. It can be utilized in any elemental type including non. A physical, cleaver-like object appears to attach to the underside of Nanimo's right arm. Before the 'sword' appears, two nearly microscopic objects 'eject' from her arm.



Phantasmal Armor Motivation System (PAMS) - This is Nanimo's armors' delivery system. At any time, she is able to alter her armor protection type through Motivation Shift (MS). The only outward indication of MS is the change in hair color to correspond to the element. This alters her offensive and defensive strikes as it changes her element. The major disadvantage is the introduction of elemental weaknesses through MS. The advantages, however, easily outweigh these weaknesses as Nanimo is able to adapt to nearly any situation based on the analysis through GRASC.

Garden Reserve Assessment Situation Computer (GRASC) - Nanimo used the resources available to her to merge with the Gardens' operation system (OS). The major addition was a situational assessment computer system.

Mobile Mechanisms


Anti-Gravity Drive
XTA-308

The experimental stage of the Anti-Gravity Drive. The prototype was built so that it had an interchangeable power source. This allowed for quick experimentation of what method would best power the Anti-Gravity Drive's final form. It was discovered that a power filter, utilizing PAC-080 in a Plexiglas-like globe, using a Master's elemental abilities would maximize hovering capabilities.

PAC-e80

Utilizing the PAC-080's method of 'melting' the Power Absorbing Crystal into an armor or armor-like structure, the greatest engine was created. The PAC-e80 is actually the power source, also seen as a filter or siphon. It is, almost literally, a globe made with armor-like Plexiglas. This allows for full visibility of the elemental ability keeping the Anti-Gravity Drive active. It has a 'hatch' that opens by flipping a switch, and it opens in a circular, expanding fashion. There are no hinges and no simple to locate 'break points' to speak of. It has a radius of precisely seven and one-eighths inches.

AGE-508

The Anti-Gravity Drive, itself. It stands at five foot and three and a quarter inches tall. A container for the PAC-e80 is in its dead-center, and it has unique suction-cup like appendages within the container to attach to the power source. It looks rather...inartistic. It looks more like a Borg Cube, but in a more rectangular fashion. There is no secret behind this look. It's all about functionality. It allows for maximum power distribution and maximized cooling potential.

It looks small, but it outputs a powerful, in layman's terms, anti-gravity field. It's more a powerful, magnetic effect than anything else. However, that would have those not accustomed to magnetic fields assume the AGE-508 attracts or repels metals. This would be a rather ignorant assumption. It actually emits a form of magnetism that only affects an objects attraction to the terra firma. In a sense, it works by 'repelling' the gravitational forces. Again, this is far too simple for what it actually does.

We'll put it in the simplest, possible terms right here, right now. AGE-508 make things float.


Garden
To put it simply, these are the replicas of Balamb Garden. They use six AGE-508s, unless otherwise specified, strategically placed for maximum lifting power. They can 'hover' anywhere from twelve feet to twenty-two thousand feet (or approximately four miles) above ground level. Optimal distance, however, is approximately twelve-thousand feet above ground level. This height has optimal energy consumption and output. Either extreme causes quickest consumption and lowest output.

GMB-001

Radiance Garden is the first of the military-line of Gardens. It is a fortress. It utilizes high-powered cannons and artillery to defend every possible angle. It also utilizes multiple bridges to prevent the enemy from targeting a single spot and calling it quits. It also looks most like the original Garden Seafoam claimed as spoils of war. It should also be noted that Radiance Garden is also capable of carrying a great deal of combat-ready troops as well as their supplies. In one sense, it can create a nearly unbreakable chain of supplies. Of final note, it carries an ion cannon that utilizes fourteen storage capacitors, or batteries.

GMB-002

Divinity Garden is the first, and likely only, Gym Garden. Samus Joan Lovefelter is Seafoam's top R&D as well as Dragon Mistress and Gym Leader. She also happens to have a great love for Pokemon. This Garden expresses that by housing the Gym in the center of a great reserve. It also shows her technical side by housing yet another R&D Facility. Basically, it's her 'home away from home'.
