"Kreeeh, That would be snow-angels!" Loki perked up, remembering the time that Tekilite had just flopped into the snow and made a very pretty imprint in the bank of the snow. He had seen at least two snows in his lifetime so far. One when he was only a chick and more recently he had a wonderful time. Even trying his own 'snow-angel' of sorts. But wings are a lot better for flying anyhow.
Raven grinned. Snow would have been fun. But seeing all the pretty colors was awsome. Some flowers were still in bloom as well.
"But there are snowpeople too! Well... usually we make snow men, but I will make snow women!" Tekilite added, half-glancing towards Loki.
Raven sucked up her jello a little, and pointed to the tumbling leaves with her good arm. Loki looked curiously from the finger's point to the dancing pile. It was a good enough breeze to do that. He hopped down from Tekilite's shoulder to the handle of the wheelchair.
"Green? Why does a green leaf play with colored ones?"
Raven looked to Loki, "You're eyes are good. I don't see it. It just looks nice. Its like they're all playing tag. Except everyone is it." Tekilite and Bryan nodded. Loki just cocked his head. Gee, it was easy to spot to him... Why couldn't anyone else see it. Oh, but did Pash see it?
Then Bryan quietly excused himself to Pash and Tekilite. He might as well as prepare his house. It would be better for Raven when she's out of the hospital. It would take a few months for everything to be alright and Tekilite's small appartment wouldn't be comfortable enough for a spacious recovery.

Pash looked up and focused his eyes on where loki's had been. There, he could see it. A small green leaf inexplicably falling with many coloured ones falling away from the trees. As he stared at it he could feel that energy again that life force.
Then as if the leaf knew it had been spotted it suddenly dropped spiraling wildly until it froze in midair caught upon a spider's web.
Wriggle wriggle. The leaf squirmed and shook trying to free itself from the sticky webbing.
Pash stared at the leaf that was stuck between him and Raven. It Certainly wasn't a danger to them but he'd never seen or felt anything like it before. " Do leaves normally do this on Gaia?"

Loki leaned over to Pash, "Know much but, I think-k-ks that most leaves don't." Loki however continued the living leaf's dancing of struggle.
Raven looked to the both of them, a dawn raising in her eyes. She remembered how she had come from a leaf. She straightened herself and said, "Oh! I remember something. That I came from a leaf! Maybe its an Eden leaf? Pash would you get the poor leaf, where ever it is?"
Tekilite looked to the swirling pile and to the gathering, she really hadn't a clue what was going on, but she did know that all of the Eden children grew from leaves. She nodded him on, with a light smile. To think that a leaf from the great tree had fallen off and trailed all the way here... However she hadn't an idea where it was. This was exciting!

At the urging of the other Pash gently plucked the sturggling leaf free from it's prison and let it rest in his hand. It lay still for a moment Before wriggling it's way across his hand to be half under his sleeve.
Pash's eyes ficked from the leaf to Raven " You came from a leaf like this?" The idea was somewhat insane but then again much of Gaia was that way. Still, for a leaf to birhth the child sitting before him, such a concept was hard to comprehend.
The tip of the leve bent and waved towards Raven but it did not advance from beneath the sleeve.

Raven nodded seriously, before giggling and smiling towards the leaf.
"I wasn't as big as I was now. But I'm sure whomever comes out of the leaf will be nice. That is... if he or she is and Eden leaf..." Most likely the leaf was however since, who else could come from a leaf?
She continued to suck up the grape jello. Loki meanwhile eyed the leaf. As long as it wasn't coming to their house for a permanent stay... he was fine with it. Raven wasn't staying with them. ... Or so he thought for the while.
"You tak-k-ke good care of it, yes Pash?" he asked almost hopefully. One could tell he was rather spoiled, it was also convienent that he hadn't known that Raven was taking up permanent residence as well.
Raven yawned and wiggled around in her seat. It wouldn't have been so bad if she had either not nearly broken her leg in half as well as her arm, or not her arm at all. She couldn't even wheel herself around. She was getting a little tired but she still loved looking at the outside.
The butterflies where having such a conversation! She couldn't help but smile. Naturally she couldn't jump in their conversations because... who else could talk to butterflies? They might look at her wierd anyhow. Raven didn't want that.

"Mm a leaf child I'm certain this shall be interesting" Pash murmured then nodded to Loki " Yes I will take good care of it." Is this a test he wondered? A test of his ability to care for something and not mess it up like before, if it was he would have to work extra hard to prove his abilites and earn his wings back.
Eyeing the yawning girl he smiled softly " Looks like the fresh air is making our fledgling sleepy so I suppose I should be going. " He looked down at the leave in his palm " Besides I should probably be getting this little one home.
Where exactly, Pash wondered did one keep an Eden leaf, should he make it a bed, or put it in a glass with water?

Raven nodded sleepily. "I think so. You'll do good Pash." She smiled and waved.
Tekilite hugged Pash, "I'm sure we'll see you again. Thanks so much for visiting!" she added quietly so Raven wouldn't hear, "And thanks, because I think Raven would have been lonely, we have about one more day here."
Tekilite pushed Raven's chair and guided Pash back in to the front desk so that he could sign out. Raven waved and then finished her grape jello, she was happy for that little excursion.

And then after the good-byes had all been said at the front desk the three of them slowly meandered to their room, so that Raven could take a good night's rest after dinner.

Pash watched them leave and smiled softly to himself. It had been nice meeting them and Raven had given him some unexpected and likely helpful information on his newest aquisition. He'd also manged to help cheer her up so all in all it had been a sucessfull visit.
Turning to head for him he eyed the heaven for a moment while enjoying the feel of the leaf wriggling in a steady heart beat like pattern on his palm. He ran his thumb along it's spine and began walking towards the garden's exit. As he walked he hummed a tune he'd loved as a child.

Rolling the meal cart down the hall was tedious business. Not that there was anything wrong with the meal cart itself that would have made it hard to push. Just that it was Darsais and Nereida pushing the meal cart, and that was a particularly disasterous combination.
Actually, Darsais, Nereida, and candy-striper uniforms was disasterous.
Another amendment to that thought, Darsais and Nereida in general was disasterous.
Still, they were at the hospital and they were pushing the meal cart, so enough on that subject.
"234, 236, 238," counted Darsais, watching the room numbers pass them on either side of the hall. "Ner, why aren't there any odd numbers?"
"I think they're on the other side of the floor," shrugged Nereida. That was an interesting question!
"240!" announced Darsais. "That's the one." She stopped the cart and knocked on the door. "Breakfast!" she called, opening the door and looking in.
The occupant of the room looked to be a blue-haired girl about the same age as she and Nereida. And she looked like she hadn't entirely woken up yet.
"We can bring it back later if you'd like," Darsais added.

Raven blinked owlishly as her fuzzy head cleared. Loki's head was swiveling around making sure everything was alright while Tekilite was in the bathroom. Geez she was taking a long time...
"Mmm. Food?" Raven asked. Her stomache grumbled slightly at the prospect. Hospital food wasn't that bad.
"Come in. Can have breakfast, yes," Loki agreed, he fluttered to the metal bar, talons scraping it rather loudly as he adjusted his grip. The sun was up, and people have been walking around. So it was seemingly 'breafast time' known to Loki. Although in reality his breakfast time would have been much much later. He glanced almost worriedly to Raven. Could she pick up the spoon or fork with her other arm? He hadn't noticed her eat yet. In fact, most of the three days he had been sleeping.

The purple-haired girl vanished behind the door. A moment later, she appeared again with the meal cart and Nereida. With a graceful flourish, she extended the TV tray on the -were those feathers? bird, then - girl's bed and set the tray of hospital food down on it.
"This morning, the kitchen has prepared for you a gourmet peice of french toast with not enough cinnamon or butter, artificial maple syrup in a plastic cup, and a carton of generic pulp-free orange juice," she announced, giggling. The green-skinned girl behind her rolled the cart towards Loki.
"Would you like one, too?" she asked.

He whistled softly, "Ahh. No thank-k-ks." Raven giggled.
"His breakfast is still living, something that he'll catch on his own much later." She stated, while throwing a weird look towards the intelligent bird. Raven thought back to the meat-cookies... and wondered if Alex still liked those, and if so would ask for one so Loki could try it. Though, she didn't suppose that Loki actually like catching mice...
Raven lifted her arm from under the covers, her feathers on her arms splayed uncomfortably. Loki hopped to the other side and began preening her. She certainly couldn't use her other arm in a cast!
"Thanks Loki," she was supposing that at least Loki knew how uncumfortable ruffled feathers were. Then she noticed the green-skinned girl. A fleeting look crossed her face. She was reminded of the green haired girl in Eden.
"Well, uhm. Thank you very much," Raven politely said.

"You're very welcome!" beamed Darsais. She indicated the green-skinned girl. "She's Nereida, I'm Darsais, and we'll be working on this floor all morning. Just yell if you need anything."
"We will probably not hear you," added Nereida, "In that case, yell again. Or until we do."
"Like, when you finish with your tray," explained Darsais. "Just yell and we'll come get it. Hope you feel better soon!"
And with that, both girls quickly exited, pushing the cart at dangerous speeds.

Raven giggled as they left, giving them a soft thank you in between the fits. Loki just shifted his weight to and fro, adding more deep scrapes to the iron bar. As soon as the both of them were finished at what each were doing, (Raven eating and Loki... being nervous) Tekilite finally came in. She was bundled up and had a wheelchair for Raven.
"Where we going?" Raven asked, momentarily forgetting that this was her last day from the hospital, more over, it was only the last morning of her extended stay.
"Home. Well, erm. Bryan's home in Gaia here, for a little while. It's certainly got a yard and its a very big house. I hope you'll enjoy it."
Raven squeed. Anyplace to stay was better than here, although the hospital wasn't so bad. Loki hopped onto Tekilite's shoulder as she helped Raven into the chair and out of her room.
A nurse came by after the trio had left and took Raven's name from the socket next to the room number. Raven was officially released from the hospital.
