Got to take some guildies here today. This was the original Deadwind Pass in the alpha testing stages of WoW, they copped it for the new one early in the game but this one is still in the files.

Ah, I see you got there from the instanced ZG run. Is this the "hop over the walls" encounter? If so, then I know friends who have gone there, however I have yet to be brave enough to try it. I really should.

The post before yours explained it pretty well. When they released ZG, they did some mega changes to the instance (as can be seen by anyone who is ever bored enough to climb to uninstanced ZG). When they set up the actual instance, they left in the alpha versions of two zones, Deadwind Pass and the Blasted Lands.

Pretty much for anyone experienced in wall-jumping, this should be cake.

hey you know what? i got thru deadwind pass at lvl 26 easily. i only died once when i got to stonard. easy for me. so i dont have to walk my a** there anymore. smile

Yeah, but it's fun to go to ZG while and go through the uninstanced place. What we mean is inside Zul'Gurub, and not the actual area of Deadwind Pass.

I think the current version is a bit better. 3nodding I mean, just look at the water, it looks awesome~!
