((This is a private rp for myself, and my ocs, as well as my changeling *obviously* Dulci. Please do not post in here without express permission by me, thanks ^___^))
The vixen had been spending so much time trying to get the little dryad's room fixed up for her just perfect, that she'd been letting herself go. Forgetting to eat here and there, going without quite a bit of sleep, among other things had all culminated into what she now experienced. Burned out, and having worked herself sick, Angie was pleased to know that the room was final, and that the little one it had been for was quite pleased. However, she had to reap the benefits and appreciation, from bed. Juliet, the little woofie she'd come to rely on for so many things, had sent her to bed with a firm stare that even she couldn't ignore.
Curled up in her flannel comforter with the wolves on it, Angie opened her eyes blearily, finding the eyelids with a mind of their own, protesting at the sudden movement. The light around her, coming through the window in her room, seemed too bright for this hour, despite the fact that the sun making a hasty retreat into the night. Without her watch, or a beside clock even, she was unable to tell how long she'd been asleep for. Her first waking thought was of the little redhaired girl just down the hall, and whether she was okay. The seemingly mute child had been so very ecscatic over her new room, but also seemed to be quite concerned for her adoptive mother. Rubbing her eyes into cooperation, Angie sat up. "I hope Juliet was able to keep her occupied. I shouldn't have gone to bed like that."
"Nonsense. I will not hear of that. You were worn out, and very nearly had to be carried to bed. What did you think you were going to do if you hadn't gone to bed? Sleep walk around?" As if right on cue, the woofie entered the bedroom, trotting in with what seemed to be a thermos of soup hanging off her tail.
"How long have I been asleep, Juli? And how's Dulci? I hope she's not too upset about me.." Eyeing the thermos, vulpine ears perked up; she was ravenous after having been nearly starving herself in order to get things just perfect for her little Dulci.
"Patience love, patience." The blue-toned woofie had seen the wolfish gaze, and responded to it as she saw fit. "You've been asleep for nearly 14 or more hours, and are up almost in time to eat, then go back to sleep again. Most of the house is already fed and in bed, read to an-" But she didn't get much farther before the patter of feet at the door stole their attention. Dulci appeared, holding onto a little teddy bear that Seiteki had found for her somewhere in Gambino Isle. Spying Angie awake, her bright blue eyes widened and she pottered on over to the bed, using every ounce of strength she had to clamber atop the rather tallish bed, before collapsing with a smile on her mother's lap. A moment later she was curled up under the covers beside Ang, grinning at Juliet like she had good sense.
"Well hello there little one. I take it you couldn't sleep?" Juliet chuckled and shook her head, retreiving the soup from her tail and handing it over to Angie as the vixen gave her little girl a hug. "Thank you Juli, I appreciate it." But she kept a good mind to eye the contents of the thermos to make sure it was edible. After all, some of the stuff that the woofie tried to poke down her throat at various stages of the room remodel, didn't seem as.... appetizing as others.
"No worries, it's simply chicken noodle soup, I promise." Rolling her eyes, Juliet motioned for Angie to wait a moment, and disappeared through the doorway once more. A moment later, she returned, having retreived a spoon from the kitchen for Angie to use.
"I have faith in you Juli, I promise." Winking at her friend, the vixen accepted the utensil, as well as the napkins offered to her, and began to pour some of the warm 'liquid gold' into the top of the thermos. Beside her, a pair of eyes closely matching those of a puppy dog, stared up at Angie and her soup. Knowing that the little dryad had already had something to eat, Juliet wouldn't let her go hungry, Angie chuckled to herself and handed Dulci the thermos top, with only a little in it. "Ahh why not." Handing the spoon to her little companion, the fox-girl tipped up the thermos and drank from it as if it had coffee or juice in it.
"Mmm thank you Juli hon. I don't know what I'd do without you." Smiling at the woofie, she put down the soup, closing her eyes for a moment to savor the warmth that seeped through her, restoring life to the aching limbs. Dulci was busy slurping at her soup, not so noisily that it was annoying, more of a welcome sound considering how quiet she was normally. Angie reached an arm around the little one, snuggling her close before taking another sip of soup.
A knock on the door, however, whisked the woofie away before she could acknowledge Angie's thanks, so the vixen turned back to her soup and silent company to finish and enjoy.

Getting nudged by her smallish companion, Angie tilted her head to the side, mid-swallow of soup. An impishly sweet smile, cheeks poofed up and out, eyes nearly smooshed shut by the cheeks, stared up at her. The top of the thermos inched the vixen's way, Dulci innocently begging for more.
"Well, someone's still got a bit of an appetite, doesn't she? Oh alright, you can have some more." Who could say no to that face, after all? Taking hold of the top and gingerly pouring a bit more of the warm liquid into it, Angie carefully handed it back to the little girl.
It wasn't but a shade after that, that Juliet came wandering back in hesitantly. "Angie.... There's someone here to see you. I tried to tell them you weren't feeling well and were in bed, but they- they wouldn't listen." Stepping aside, out of the doorway, the pastel colored woofie bowed her head in apology.

A knowing smirk upon her face, and the brown-haired beauty stepped through the door way. "My my my, time sure does treat you rather... kindly now doesn't it, Angela dear."
The two could have been mistaken for mirror images of each other. The same curly-ish hair, similarly colored eyes, same stature and skin tone. The only obvious differences were hair color, Angie's ears and tail, and attitude. Personality was also a big difference between this new girl, and Angie. Where the vixen was quiet, reserved, and tried to appreciate everything and everyone around her, always willing to give up her day to help another, Kheldara was completely the opposite. Conniving, decieving, the girl was a gypsy. Never in one place for too long, quick to assume the world was against her, loud and obnoxious. But what was she doing here?
Clearly, she was up to no good, barging into the house as she did.
