All right, here's something that should help. Please don't thank me for this, I'm just doing my job(to serve others).
You've just got to remember BEMDAS B-Brackets(or parantheses) E-Exponents MD- Multiplication and Division, respectively, but the should be done in left to right order, not M, then D. AS- same thing, but with subtraction and addition. Left to right again.
As to Multiplication and Division of positive and negative numbers, think of it this way- a negative number is just a positive number X negative one. You can split it, like so:
-9/3=x -1 X (9/3)=x -1 X 3=x -3=x
Does that help? Multiplication is just the same. So, remember- BEMDAS, and X -1. Hope this helps you out...

Chrysilla *sigh* Okay 9+(7-4) 2Do you subtract the "7-4", first or do 4x4, then subtract that from 7.. What order does it go in? Bump heart th answer is 18 b/c first u do the parentheses then the exponet then the adding
