Okay, dude.

Here's the place to discuss your favorite hippie movies. Concert movies, documentaries, or just movies with stories related to the culture.

I'll start with a movie I just saw today:

Grand Theft Parsons. Based on a true story, it's about Gram Parsons road manager, who promised to have him cremated at Joshua Tree when he died. So, he goes an adventure, where he has to find Gram's body, and take it to his final resting place, where he is joined by an anonymus hippie, and is chased by Gram's girlfriend, who wants Gram's money, and Gram's father, who wants him buried somewhere else.

For those of you who don't know, Gram Parsons was a country-rock singer/songwriter. He was a member of the Flying Burrito Brothers, and an important part of the hippie culture.

It's a fun movie. I highly recomend it to anyone.

Cool, i'll check it out sometime. -notes down name of the movie-

A good hippie movie I liked was called "Rolling Kansas". It's about a guy who ends up owing alot of money, so him and some friends take a road trip following this map to a "lost hippie camp ground" that has a rumour of a huge weed forest that was started from one plant named "Eve". I only saw this movie once on cable but it was still a good one.

I think I've seen part of that. Isn't that the one where they put the map on t-shirts or something?
