Benjiro smiled. He couldn't remember the last time he'd seen someone so young take so much initiative. It was somewhat heartwarming.
"Why?" he asked smiling. "Have a particular interest in the Body Seal?"

"Not that seal particularly. If you must know, it is my aim to determine exactly what it is that makes a Curse Seal 'tick', so to speak. Naturally, I need to obtain a blood sample from at least one of each Seal. It would take a great deal of time, but by cross-referencing the similar aspects of a Seal-Carrier with the genetic structure of a normal ninja and then with a normal human, isolating the bloodline genes, and taking what is left I should be able to remove extraneous data and from there isolate the unique enzyme that causes such a radical mutation in the composition of a DNA strand." The look in his eyes was almost giddy at the thought of such a challenging procedure.

Benjiro tilted his head slightly in a state of utter confusion. "I suppose if you feel that would be worth your while then go through it." he said. "Although I don't know of anyone other than Orochimaru-Sama that knows anything about them. As for the ANBU member I haven't seen her in an exceptionally long time. Due to her status as an ANBU it's safe to assume that she is dead having been MIA this long." It wasn't a pleasant thought but he had to be realistic.

"Hmm. Pity." He looked around thoughtfully. "Well perhaps once I've obtained samples from other donors I can ask Orochimaru-sama for a subject with such a seal." He bowed.
"Thank you for your aid, Benjiro-san. Now if you'll excuse me, I have things to do..."
He bowed once again, and left.

Benjiro sighed. Youth these days.
He had wrapped up Karu's diseased arm in paper that was slightly bloody. He had to get this to Orochimaru. Joy, that twisted man would find something horrible to do with it, though undoubtedly he would find a cure for the dreadful disease. That boy Kabuto, he would figure it out quickly. Benjiro hated to admit it but he was a far better medic-nin than he.
