Supposidly using quadra magic and KOTR is a good combination, however, what does quadra magic do exactly? Does it cast the paried materia four times? if so, why isn't it working with KOTR?

my avice is pair KOTR is with MP absorb materia, as KOTR needs allot off MP and so with this pairing its hard to run out.
this comes in very handy when fighting the weapons as the effect carrys over with mime, so youll always have MP to summon the Pheonix if you need to.
other suggestions would be HP absorb, or magic counter (obtained from the chocobo races), and sneak attack materias, thoe it DOSEN'T work with Quad magic as your short by 1 MP and the game won't allow that pairing anyway.

Yup... the best way to pair KoR is with a HP Absorb... and complement it with Phoenix-Final Attack... as well as Bahamuth Zero-Quadra Magic and a Mime Materia ^^

If you master a few KOTR you could have it paired with MP absorb and HP absorb. I don't know if the game will let you W-summon it with Turbo MP though, you might be short by one.
And naturally Final Attack=Phoenix is a good combo too.

I changed mine to HP absorb eliminating the need for healing, and it carries with mime...mime also takes 0 MP so you can KotR an infinate amount of times and defeat the necessity of healing

Does it cast the paried materia four times? if so, why isn't it working with KOTR? the reason for this is simple,KOTR uses 250mp rite? so u would need a mp of 1000 to use it! all u can get is 999.neway the best combo i think is to have mp turbo-kotr,and have w-summon on that character.then keep miming it.best way to kill emerald weapon( best to have all 3 guys with mime after one casts kotr with mp turbo and w summon (all of em cast it twice then))
