Are Kasey Kahne's championship hopes done for?

I think he could come back and win some of the intermediate tracks, but my hope of him winning the championship are fading.

What do you think?

i hate to say it but his hopes of winning the championship this year are basicly over. or thats what i think.

I would have to agree with that. With Kenseth and Harvick running so well I don't really think he has a hope anymore.

it's going to be between the top 5 guys in points right now....i think personally it's harvick, burton, and kenseth....hopefully not gordon but he's been pretty strong the last 2 races

I doubt that Burton will be able to hold off Kenseth and Harvick. Those two just had some bad luck near the end otherwise Kenseth and Harvick would be sitting in first and second. If Burton wants to hold off those two guys he's gonna have to have the best 8 races of his career.

Kasey does well at the Mile and a half 'cookie-cutter' tracks like Kansas. If he puts together a good run over the next few races, he's back in it. He is in a hole though, so I think one more stumble will end his chances fo the Cup.
