The dark gloom of death called her toward the graveyard, despite already feeling unwelcome and untrusted. If her mere presence as a goddess troubled a guardsmen so much, it was unlikely anyone else in the pride would have any warmer of a welcome should she stumble upon them. Curiousity was killing her however, finding herself much deeper into the lands, lying lazily in the mist. Somewhere between looking for this pride the angry one had spoken of, and avoiding them altogther, she'd confined herself to see if they found her.

Ra was growing to enjoy solitude the longer he stayed in the graveyard. It was like the desert but much more tolerable to his dark fur and as the days went on, he grew more used to the dust and mists.

Today, he was sitting on top of an old skull, his tail curled around his paws, his mind mulling over many things that had happened of late and moreover, concern about what the future held. He worried about the strength of the ties that bound his family and of how fast everyone seemed to grow apart. His brother sought the gods, he sought adventure and happiness, a place to test his strength.

He seemed to make more people angry these days when really he didn't mean to.

Letting out a sigh he shrugged.

"What will be will be."

Half asleep her ear instinctively perked to pick up the none-to-distant sound. She opened her eyes slowly, lids heavy, still between sleeping and waking. When the goddess had finally convinced herself that the voice was worth inspecting, she pushed herself from the ground, moving slowly but solidly through the grass. Her eyes rose to see the lion atop the bones. As dark as she was, her body could still be picked out through the mist, however she kept her wings tight to her body so as to not immediately draw attention to them.

She cleared her throat to announce her presence amoungst the mist, and drew herself up into a somewhat relaxed seated position hoping to neither frighten or upset the lion.

"Good evening...you are from the pride of these lands?"

Ra didn't start at the female's voice, he was confident in his fighting prowess and saw no reason to fear anyone. Besides, most attackers would not make themselves known to him if they did have ill intent. As such he turned his crimson gaze on her without a trace of fear, sitting down and giving her a cool look over. Her wings were near invisible to him against the black of her fur and escaped him for now.

He gave her a wry grin as though her question amused him. "Well, sortof. I'm originally Firekin, but that pride has lost it's way. My family came here in search of an escape and now we call it home, the king isn't fussy who he allows into the ranks."

He curled his tail behind his muscled adolecent form, completely unaware that before him stood the goddess that his brother had always said he was blessed by when he lamented his black fur in the searing desert."

The goddess pulled herself up, her back and muscles tensed, as several of her questions were answered for her. This lion seemed far more agreeable than the first she met from these lands. Though that was partially her own fault, it shoudn't've been shocking that when you hear a lion roar or growl, they normally are already aggitated. She raised her brow at the idea of lions turning away from her sister's pride, resisting the grin that pulled at her maw.

It appeared that the goddess had the option for a polite conversation, one that could perhaps lead to answers.

"I know of the firekin," she bristled slightly, but settled quickly, "no disrespect intended, but I have bad memories of certain members. Not you of course," she caught herself, hoping she'd not found a lion that was quick to be insulted. "Long ago leader I suppose."

She curled her tail around her back leg, staring vaguely into the mists and then back to the lion, observing and noting his appearance. If it was a single firekin family that came here this was likely a relation of the last lion she'd come in contact with, she could almost smell it.

"I've rambled on a bit it would seem, informal introduction are the least requirement for someone to talk another's ear off," her voice was deep, and while she meant the comment to be funny and offhanded, it still remained a bit flat and only the shadow of a smile played are her features.

"You may call me Rhin," nodding her head just slightly.
