This is what I beleive and how I'm trying to live my life.
1. Do what I feel is right, and what the Bible says is right.
2. Trying to TREASURE my emotions. No matter what they feel like. Happiness, fear, sadness, joy, terror, anger. To understand these emotions and embrace them. Just live life to teh fullest.
3. Look at every situation impartially.
Discuss:
What do you think of my new rules? What rules to you live by?

Is it possible to do what YOU like AND follow god at the same time?

Hmm, well, that's a bit of a tricky one.
Personally, I believe that if you want is what God wants, then yes, it is possible. However, if your desires were otherwise, that's where we get into trouble. Personally, I want to do a lot of things that God doesn't want me to, so I struggled and fight and end up not doing them. There's also a bunch of things that God wants me to do that I don't want to do. Bit of a circle, I think.
But in all honesty, I think that it's almost impossible to do both.

In order for any impartiality, emotions must be supressed, or they just get in the way.

I live by one rule, kinda the one our parents used to tell us... Treat others the way you want to be treated... Simple as that.

Well technically, you're not supposed to do what you think is right--you're supposed to do what the Bible says is right, because humans are sinners by nature.
Adam and Eve thought it was right to eat the apple from the tree that God clearly told them NOT to eat from, no? ^_^

I dunno. I seriously doubt they felt it was right to eat from the tree. I mean, I've never felr right when doing something rebelious.
