I’m making this page for all you roleplayers out there. ^_^ Here I’ll have an explanition of roleplaying along with my photobucket account with pictures that I collected and use for roleplaying and I have organized them myself so you can find what you’re looking for. If you have any pictures you’d like to share or have any suggestions I’d love to add or hear them.

~ Finding a Picture for your Character ~
If you need a picture then Click Here for a couple I added on photo bucket. You can use the links too. I really don’t mind. ^_^

Elemental - Elemental images because we all love the elements. ^_^

-Plants
-Air
-Holy
Demon/Vampire - Demons, Vampires and Dark Angels can be found here.
Angel - Angels or more Holy looking pictures here. (Also if you are looking for a holy one check the Elemental section)
Child - Those mainly Adorable pictures will be here.
Teen - Most of the time Teens are the best choice for a roleplay.
Adult - Looking for an older more mature looking character? Here is the place to look.
Animal - Anything that is or close to an animal. Cat and dog people, Mermaids and ones like that will be found here.
Elf and Fairies - Need a fairy or elf for your roleplay? Then go here.
Couples - Pictures of more than one girl in the picture. Some can be used as twin pictures or sisters. 3nodding
Princess - I found a couple of great pictures that make a great princess picture so I put them all together.

~ Picking a name ~
Well first of all you might already have one in mind so go with that. It can be a name you heard and really liked or whatever. If you are having a hard time finding a name try Here it should start out on A so just click the letters at the top to go to that one. ^_^

~ Do’s ~
Literate = Most people want you to be literate meaning spell check is your friend. If you don’t have a spell checker the google toolbar has one on it and also blocks pop-ups and its free to download. Also literate can also mean to have a basic knowledge of the series you would be roleplaying if you are roleplaying one that is. Also no one is perfect we all make spelling errors once in a while so as long as its not all the time its fine.
Rules = People write the rules so that there aren’t any fights or to keep some kind of order. So before roleplaying carefully read their rules and sometimes people test you to see if you read them by adding a word you have to write when joining. Read them carefully. ^_^
Long Term = When they write this they want you to stay in the roleplay as long as possible. People want the roleplays to last and if you only want to roleplay for the day then stay away from the long terms ones and just try to find someone will to roleplay for the day. There are tons of people online all the time.
OOC = OOC stands for Out of Character and usually they want you to use (()), [[]] or something to indicate that you are talking and not your character(s).
Example = ((Hello.))
IC = In Character. When playing a certain character from a series its best if you stay in character. I mean there are some things that some characters just won't do or say. As long as you continue to act like them everything should be fine. ^_^
~ Don’ts ~
Godmodding = Its not a good thing to do when roleplaying. When someone says no Godmodding they are pretty much saying don’t make your character(s) invincible. They can dodge a couple of attacks but not all of them all the time. It can get annoying when they do.
Cybering = Cybering is not allowed on the gaia forums but if you really want to take it to the PM’s but be sure to ask the person ahead of time because a lot of the time both of the people won’t agree unless you are doing a Yaoi roleplay or something similar. Incase you don’t know it is a more sexual roleplay.
Chatspeak = Okay people would rather you not write u instead of writing you. And those kind of people also don’t want you to use * for actions. They would rather you type them out and speak in the third person. If you don’t understand here is an example.
Bad =U want 2 b my friend? *Hands flower*
Good = “Would you like to be my friend?” The boy asked the girl after handing her a flower.

~ Weapons ~
Sword - There are many types of swords and they all come in many shapes, sizes and designs.
Katana - Or Japanese Sword. Commonly used by Samurais.
Whip - A fun weapon where you get to whip your opponent.
Chinese Sword - Some what shorter than the Katana.
Dagger - Daggers are smaller knives like a little more than half the size of a sword. Sometimes used for throwing or close range. They also come in many different designs.
Kunai - Even smaller than the daggers and commonly used by Ninjas. Its mainly used for throwing but anything can be used in any way, right? ^_^
Shuriken - Or throwing stars. Also commonly used by Ninjas and they too come in many shapes and sizes.
Ax - Also called a Battle Ax.
Rapier Sword - Commonly used in fencing.
Spear/Lance - If I remember correctly a spear and a lance are almost the same but I believe the lance is usually thicker.
Bow and Arrows - Commonly used by Archers.
Slingshot - Used to throw rocks or anything that’ll fit in the sling.
Boomerang - I have seen characters in games that use a bigger Boomerang. Like Zhu Rong from Dynasty Warriors.
Scythe and Sickle - Commonly used by the Grim Reaper. ^_^
Gun - There are also many different kind of guns like the shotgun, handgun, revolver, machine gun, ect.
Staff - Commonly used by Wizards, summoners or mages.
Gloves and Gauntlets - For thoes who’d rather let their fists do the talking.
Tiger Claws - For those who want to use their hands and a weapon at the same time. XD Convenient.
Fan - When using it as a weapon usually the top is lined with a sharp metal or the whole thing is made from it.
Garrote - A wire or sometimes rope used to strangle people. (Okay technically that’s not the right wire but it can still be used to strangle someone so there. XP)
