Well, On the 11th of October we went to court, I was asked to leave the room by my fathers wishes and the court ensued. Come to find out, the lawyer representing my brother had not read one statement or petiton anyone had wrote after he told both me and my mother that he had read them. The court date has been pro-longed; all the statements made were handed out to each party - Including mine; My mother ended up going to see my brother at my dad's because he told my mom he could have 'supervised' visitation rights under his supervision. Well, my brother told us not to waste our money comming back and that he dosn't want to live with us.
Keep in mind, the first time we came out, he told us he wanted to come live with us, and now only after the court date is he saying that he dosn't want to live with us. DFS has confirmed abuse but, my brother won't come forth and spill the beans. We have to go back next month on the 16th to fight again. Do you think we'll have a good chance at winning the case?

Keep in mind that you are doing it for your brother. It will not be easy, but it is just something that has to be done. Do not let your fear get the better of you, that would let him win in at least some sense. Do not look at him if it bothers you. Keep your eyes focused on someone you are more comfortable with or an empty chair or a spot on the wall.
