Do you believe that other people are now boasting as they tell they've read the gospel?

I partially believe. Some are like the people who are telling they're good,

they are like the Pharisees. sweatdrop

In my humble opinion, I think we shouldn't tell the world that we read it,

on the other hand, we must've just act normally (and behave).

Well, maybe, I'm just reflecting myself... Perhaps sweatdrop

I think we should tell the world about the gospel. We are God's witnesses. He wants us to tell the world about it. We should act differently, because we are different. There is a difference between boasting and sharing. We should share with the world our knowledge of Christ.
