First the ratings... *drumroll*
" In the most-watched bout of the new fall season, Grey's Anatomy knocked down CBS heavyweight CSI. Per Nielsen Media Research estimates, the ABC doctor drama won the 9-10 p.m. time slot with 25.1 million viewers; CSI trailed with 22 million."
YAY!!!!! mrgreen
"Airing on Sundays last season, Grey's Anatomy averaged 19.7 million viewers. So far, life on Thursday is looking even better. Not only was the premiere up 32 percent from last year's, the episode was the series' third most-watched ever, behind the two hours that aired after last February's Super Bowl."
The Grey's love is spreading. heart In other news..... __________________________
"'Grey's Anatomy' fans lash out at CTV for airing wrong episode of hit show"
Many Canadian fans of "Grey's Anatomy" were left puzzled by plot gaps and apparent inconsistencies Thursday night when CTV inadvertently aired the second episode of the season rather than the hotly anticipated premiere.
"If you live in Canada, please don't include any spoilers about the second episode!" implored a blog on the USA Today website.
CTV spokesman Mike Cosentino said the network took in its regular satellite feed of the show thinking it was the season premiere.
Cosentino called the CTV glitch a "good news/bad news scenario."
"The bad news is viewers missed Episode 1 and we're working on the right solution to remedy that, and the good news is - Episode 2 is fantastic."
Is it wrong that I'm jealous of Canada right now? xp
Btw, I too want to ask lucky CTV viewers to please keep the events of Episode 2 to themselves as well thanks. whee

well, lucky for me i didn't see the whole thing due to my parents wanting to watch a tape of dancing with the stars. and also lucky for me because the parts that i did see...it was really good and i wanna finish the episode lol.
but it was confusing cus the commercial after that ep was for the same ep but for next week lol. then i was scared cus when i watched at 9 it was a diff ep and i thought maybe i missed part 1 of the premiere or sumthing...but it's all good now

I have a friend in Vancouver and we were discussing the season premiere. He couldnt figure out if they meant to do that on purpose. I told him it was likely the station screwed up... and it did. I was slightly peeved because hes not such a fan, but hes already an episode ahead! However, this week they will get the very first episode (the actual premiere) so as to be fair to the viewers in Canada. That made me feel better. ^_^

"I Am a Tree" was set to be the real episode 1. But then ABC and Shonda Rhimes decided to make it number 2. However, they did not tell CTV nor the "guy" that takes care of tv series feeds somewhere in tv land. So CTV aired the episodes in the original order, when ABC aired them in the new order. Tonight, both countries will have seen both episodes and everything is going back on track with CTV and ABC airing episode 3 next week.
Changing the episodes seem more consistent this way.
