saffire2 No Offence but it is just like the problems bit in general discussion but you have to join a guild to join in really..i like it but you could just visit the life issues in general discussion instead Yes you could. And we encourage you to. But some people feel that their problem is too personal to post publicly or that some of the people here are more trusted then the general population. That is exactly the point of this guild.

Well, for one, you might want to get more helpers around the guild. I mean, alot of people who post their issues, or something, they don't get an answer.
I had mine up here for three days. And no answer. And people who just put theirs up get answers. Kinda funny in a way ..

Lil` Paige Well, for one, you might want to get more helpers around the guild. I mean, alot of people who post their issues, or something, they don't get an answer.
I had mine up here for three days. And no answer. And people who just put theirs up get answers. Kinda funny in a way .. There aren't any specific people who give answers; anyone is free to post their problems and anyone is free to give advice. Just like in the LI forum. Personally, I try to hit all the threads when I have the time. Usually I give advice if I feel that I have something beneficial to say, although sometimes I don't answer if I don't have anything I consider to be good advice. But I am sorry you did not get an answer. Sometimes there are periods of inactivity.

I agree. There are far too little people who actually come here and help.

I dunno if it's occured to the people who are bitching about not getting enough help, but here's the deal folks... Sometimes, people don't know how to help. It's not that they don't want to, or that they don't have time. They just don't know how. I'm not speaking for everyone in the guild, but I know that there are many times when I read over something, and I'm stumped. If I don't have anything useful to say, what's the point in saying anything? If you say, "Well that sucks," is the person really feeling validated? Are they really getting any kind of response? No... So stop bitching and just wait until someone knows what to say. Patience people... Patience.

Official owner's stance: I completely agree that you won't get as many responses here as in the general LI forum, but it's the quality of response that draws people to post their issues here. I've always had my own personal guideline of not giving half-assed help, so each post general takes some time for me. Compare that to the majority of people in LI, where "omg!" and "sucks to be you" are valid responses. If you really have a pressing issue, and you're not satisfied with the help you've received, feel free to bump or state that you need more help. Also, sometimes people find and like a specific person's style of help, in which case you might want to personally PM them. I've been quite bad about responding to posts in LI and here, but if someone PMs me, I"ll get to it when I first sign on.
I do appreciate the constructive criticism. It's the only way the guild will grow. whee

I would be happy to help with issues but--I am always just finding chatting. Feel free to PM me to come and discuss issues. I have a degree and a lot of life experience. su

you guys need more; people, subforums and threads why because all good guilds need to be active, and to be active those are the things you need + subfourums make it cleaner, easier on the eye. tat the moment its so quiet that on the first page of guild forums theres some threads dating back to 2006! eek of course this is good because it means if you make a thread then its most likely not going to get knocked off the perch within one minute like life issues, but yah, w/e and.. sorry about bitching about the subforums, i eman, its not my place to say if i not going to donate xD alot of the members in this thread are amazingly inactive, i mean, 700 people and most threads in the first page have 20- posts? @_@ these are threads that have been there for 6-7 months? gonk i like the guild by the way, i like that the creator didn't want fame or anything like that. this place seems like it genuinely exists to help people.

i suggest also; recruit helpers. make a group of guild members who will stay loyal to the guild, who will give other people non biased/offensive help/critisism. people who would be online alot, who have a large posting history (something to prove the aren't nublets) and.. possibly.. litterate (lol)(*hypocrite much?*) good job though. i like this place
