It's been a pretty common question for years. But I've been having weird thoughts/theories. Are we like Tidus and is the universe like Zanarkand? For people who are familiar with Final Fantasy X. Do we really exist, or are we just a dream? Is let's say the Earth just an entire planet of water, or rock like the moon, or not even existing at all, and we're just dreaming it to be real?
What I think is we indeed ARE dreaming because we all begin up with God and Jesus and we come down to Earth, are we just dreaming ourselves as humans on Earth, but our real selves are up in heaven?
Sorry for any confusion.

i've asked myslef this very same question, and i doubt it. how else could we feel pain, love, happiness etc? and we can't really dream in a dream. but that would explain deja vu...

I guess I have always been very secure in the fact that I am here... Prolly because I have hurt myself so much during my life that I know I have to be real. I can feel it! xd

This is much like the question the matrix presented. I'm pretty sure this is all very real. A reason some may think this life is a dream is that in this age of television and computers there exists pseudo-worlds outside our own, and if we too spend time in the fantasy world we may forget what the real world is like or even get confused between the too. Its a scary thought.

Yeah but let's say the world ends by a massive flood or something, personally I think something like that doesn't just happen out of no where, it was planned, by God obviously, as is everything that happens, but that makes it seem and sound like it's already happened, and we're all just existing in the time before it happened...Oh man, my head. xp

I suppose this won't ever be answered until we get to speak with God himself.

Thats a basic circle... if you can prove it then how did you prove it... Or someone else brings up a fact that questions yours.
Kinda like that old saying. "If a man speaks in the forest and a woman isn't around to hear him is he still wrong?"

I'd say this is not a dream. But if this really bothers you, just take it up with God. Cause he knows everything right?

I agree, if your wondering about it so much. Then just talk with God some. And if nothing comes to you, have some patience.

One thing. You say that we all begin up with God and then come down to Earth. That's not true. It is what the cult of Mormonism teaches, but it's not what the Bible says.

This world and our bodies are real, but you could call it a different dimension. When we are in Heaven, and after that when God creates the New World, it says in the Bible that all the things we are experiencing now will be forgotten. But all the good things we do with good people will be remembered because we will have them with us. I can just picture being with my mom, sister, and the rest of my family in a place where we can be content forever.
When things get a little too daunting, I just think of us living like the Elves in the Lord of the Rings when they go to the distant ocean to dwell for all eternity. I also believe there are other worlds and other kinds of creatures and people waiting to be explored. After all, this IS just one planet. 3nodding
