I've never worn hemp. I have a book bag and some lotion that comes from hemp, though. I love both. <3
I like hemp because it's natural and, from what I know about the lotion, smells really good. biggrin
Hemp doesn't have THC - the drug part of marijuana - so it's not the same as it but the plants are similar.
The bag feels wierd when it gets wet, but it's nothing bad. That bag is my new security blanket, I almost never go anywhere without it. <3

Oh I love hemp soooo much. Over the summer I make like 10 bracelets and necklaces to wear for the year. If you weave things tight enough they're not scratchy at all heart

I just have a small thin hemp bracelet. Not itchy at all, but I wish Mouse would add the link to her ebay store where she sells ones she makes.

I just picked up macrame and hemp jewelry making, but I've never seen hemp clothing, although it sounds like it would itch XD >.> Maybe I'm lame, but I learned my first bit of macrame from The Hippie Handbook lol

I make tons of hemp necklaces and bracelaces. It's the hobby i'm most involved in. People at my school buy it all the time. The trick is to soak it, squeese most of the water out of it, then ware it in the sun. Do this atleast three times. This will make it non-ichy and will mold into a perfect fit. The brand of thread you get is very important. Never buy it at a normal store, or craft store. If the thread unwinds very easly, it's not worth buying. Buy it at stores that specialize in making jewelry. The one i go to is called Beads Galore, in Tempe, Arizona.

Well, when I first wore my hemp bag, it was a summer day and I had decided to wear shorts, so it was a bit itchy at first. But now it's soft and I really like how it feels. 3nodding It's a natural fiber, and I loves me some natural fibers.

I'm wearin a hemp shirt right now! I think it is SOOOPER comfortable! Also dries faster when it's wet. Although it does get dirty REALLY easy and washing it doesn't get it all the way clean... but I love it anyway. I really want to get some comfortable hemp shorts and sandals too.
Does anyone know any good, cheap hemp clothing stores online or otherwise?

it is the strongest natural fiber but dont forget the other great things about it...you can make lumber to build houses out of it, paper, methanol fuel (to replace gas...rioght now many race cars run on methanol since it is efficent and clean burning), food (hemp seed has more complete protein than soybeans and you can grow four times as much per acre), oil (for food and industrial use), and hundreds of legitamite medical applications (for the high THC variety)
