 Is it true that MCR have changed there minds and are acctuly going to call themselfs The Black Parade instead of My Chemical Romance?!?! HELP
And also kerrang said "My Chemical Romance are dead....long live The Black Parade"

They couldn't change thei name because everyone knows them as My Chemical Romance. They have tons of merch and they would be mad to change their name now.

They are't changing their name, it's like an alter-ego they're using because just being themselves didn't feel right for the new album.
Or something to that effect...

*nods* Yep. Gee said not to worry, they're still My Chemical Romance. Just for this album, they're also The Black Parade. They wouldn't change it entirely. Mikey picked too good a band name.

I really hope they´re not. i mean both mcr and the black parade r good names, but the 1st one is better...i mean, they became famous for that, with THAT name. they have history as MCR so i think they aren´t. The only thing is that as said, its an alter ego, gerard, mikey, frank, bob and ray r mcr and the black parade, the only differences is the type of music they play

Oh man!! if this is true, il die! i mean come on! MCR is what everyone knows not TBP that just doesent stick. We've all come to love them as My chemical romance, they cant just take that all away! But the new cd is gonna rock!!! long live the black parade!

I think the latter is less likely.don't worrie, kerrang still loves them, at the show where thay revealed themselfs as the black parade at the biggining some guy came on stage and said "my chemical romance are very sorry to not be able to play tonight due to personal reasons but they have asked some good friends to play instead, please welcome the black parade" (well something along those lines, i'm quoting this from memory) then the curtain came up and there was MCR and gerard said "My Chemical Romance are dead....long live The Black Parade" edit:oh sorry i was wrong, he infact said
"my chemical ******** those guys long live the black parade"
it was at the end when he said "my chemical romance are dead, long live the black parade"
my mistake, sorry.

To be quite honest, if My Chemical Romance was going to permantly change their name to The Black Parade then they would have issued a press release or made mention of it on their official website. To worry over such a trivial issue is, simply put, retarded. It should be about the music, not the name of the band. MCR would still creat amazing music if they were the black parade or the fluffy pink bunnies. So open your eyes a bit, and look at the big picture please.
