One of my friends tried to nominate himself for homecoming queen... He has long enough hair, but his teacher wouldn't allow it sad

Last year my school nominated a guy for homecoming queen. It was so funny to see the king and queen dance that year. But this year there was a balet to vote on and there was no spot to write in nominations. That's too bad because the guy whowon last year was going to run again. I would have voted for him again. God knows he's better than the ditsy girls who where nominated this year.

Montigo Dominic Derek_Keebler im running for kind AND queen. The more power the better, right? and then you get to dance with yourself... stare Pah! I liked my Canadian public high school bland, and fairly absent of popularity contests (I had to make some of them *disgusted look*). More often than not it just polarizes people to choose who their friends choose, and so on, until someone gets overwhelming support, while other people are ignored for their full potential.

I went to my banquet, and I loved it. I think the teachers had a hand in selecting the music, not that I hate oldies. In fact, I love oldies. The only thing was the sudden neccessity at one point for polka, which I hadn't done since Phys. Ed. 10.
Not a pleasant memory for my legs. Or tendons. Or calf muscles (I'd forgotten about those things).
As for Peter, I say you go! And even if you don't get it, you'll be our homecoming queen. Hmm... That reminds me of a Monkees song. xp

That would never happen in my school. They scream of homophobia. The proof is in our assigned agendas, they don't mention anything dealing with sexual orientation in the list of nondiscrimination statements.
