I think I actually found something wrong with your summary. The Black Knight's name use to be Leon Esla as well, like his son, and he headed off with Hurdy before he lost his memories, as you stated, but you later said in this description that he went to the swamp IN SEARCH of his memories, but if he lost his memories after fighting Raem,which was after the swamp, then how could he have gone to the Conall Curach with hurdy after they had already split up? He had his memories at the swamp, and came back without them.
