Can some one please tell me how to put links into the profile?
Also, I heard there was a way to embed mm, any one know?

You mean aside from in the about section? You can't. That would require editing the HTML, which you can't do.
As for the multimedia, you need a flash file. There are a ton free at YouTube. After you've found one you like, you need to take the URL for the video (on YouTube in the embedding code, find the URL in quotes after "src=") and go to My Gaia > Account > Multimedia. Paste the URL in the box and click "Submit".

ok, I have seen profiles with an about section and links. Maybe i am just brain dead then, lol

Not brain dead. They're custom sections, which are just lists made in the about section and moved.
There's a rough tutorial here (second half of the post) that should be enough to get you started.
