Sam smirks as she releases her energy. "The illusion was nice." The first thing she pulls out is the staff, of course. As a scientist, the runes catch her eye. She looks over them, carefully tracing lines with her fingers. Her smirk broadens as she reads the instructions carefully. She sets that back in the box as she pulls out an object that looks like a cape at first glance. As it unfolds before her, she can see what it really is. "This is more than just a little gift..." Her draconic senses can certainly feel there's a lot going on in this cloak. Taking a curious look at it, she removes her Master's Cloak and tries this new one on for size. Once it's on, her eyes widen in realization. Her senses extend from the Seafoam archipelago to nearly the entire quartersphere! "Whoa... Yeah... This is more than 'just a little gift'..." She looks to where Kelbesque left. "Thank you." She looks at her Master's Cloak wondering if she could combine [Great Will of the Dragon] into her new cloak, effectively making a new, improved cloak. In the meantime, the Mantle of the Sacred Dragon is a nice souvenir.

Sam sighs and yawns as she finishes reading the GRASC report for what feels like the millionth time. She'd actually only read it four times, but she still couldn't point anything specific out. What's more... She looks up to see that strange feminine figure walking about. Nanimo had somehow merged her OS with that of the GRASC, or Garden Reserve Assessment Situation Computer. On top of that, she's managed to use the resources available to Radiance Garden to reconstruct both hardware and software to an extent even Sam might not have been able to, at least not in that short time frame. Shaking her head, her attention is suddenly caught by the sound of the television turning on.
Sam blinks as she looks up to see Nanimo 'entertaining' Dra-Ra and Tsura, and that seems to have involved turning the television on. Sam shrugs; she wouldn't object to that. Then she sees Faust's face. She has a curious look on her face as she pays careful attention to it. She takes a careful look at Tsura and thinks about Ryuushin. She needs to train the young shade named Tsura before she can be called capable of fighting as a shadow-type. Still... She certainly sees potential there. She has nothing but a smile on her face as she turns to her cloaks. "It might be fun..." Nanimo, Tsura, and Dra-Ra turn to Sam as they hear her think aloud. "Nanimo. What's the status on your repairs?" Nanimo arches her head back as data streams past her eyes. "I am within acceptable boundaries. All systems are green." Sam shakes her head. "Give me a percentage." Nanimo nods. "PK-101 is at three percent of maximums."

arrow Island 3, Radiance Garden, Ninja'd
No matter how good the scanners are, no matter what the defenses are, defying all laws of physics, a pokemon egg is ninja'd somewhere near Sam, obvious enough she can see it, but the ninja is really good at..ninja'ing. For the ninja is gone, and an egg in a crystal remains.

To say Sam wasn't surprised would be the lie of the century. Was there an egg there before? Since when did eggs come in neat little crystal packages? Ignoring all convention, she gingerly picks the strange ninja'd item up to examine it...

arrow Island 3, EggOnce it's in her hands, and secure, the crystal covering melts way..and the egg begins to crack. Streams of pale blue and green light burst from the egg, and it shatters apart and brilliant light shines about everywhere. There is a momentary energy spike..then a tiny blue-green light shoots upward..before alighting down gently. When it settles on the desk..there is another burst of energy, blindingly bright..which becomes a..strange looking little thing. It growls cutely at its new mother..looking something like This.

arrow Island 3, Radiance Garden
Just like Kuchiki Byakuya in episode 59 of Bleach as he watched a hollow mask form over the face of Kurosaki Ichigo, Sam has a look of 'WTF?!' plastered all over her face as a male gible hatches from an egg she could have sworn wasn't there a moment ago. Nanimo happens to see the expression and chime in. "It appears to be a gible, male." Sam just gawks at him, then her, then him again and blinks. "I can see what he is..." The newly born gible cocks his head to one side as if trying to figure out what the exchange between 'mother' and the strange, inhuman lady meant.
Sam can't help but smile, though. No matter the circumstances, she's always loved to raise pokemon. It just so happened that dragons are her personal favorite. "Anyway. It looks like my team's got a new rising star..." She pauses in a moment she considers shear brilliance. "That's it! Drego! You're name's Drego." The gible, now named Drego, cutely growls as he inches up to her to be petted. She gently responds. "Nanimo. You should have information on what to feed a gible. Little Drego is quite hungry." Nanimo quickly bows and leaves the room to prepare something. Sam can only smile. "We'll have to start training you as soon as I've got myself some free time."

arrow Island 3, east shores
Sam is in her jogging outfit and running along the beach. Tagging along is her posse of Pokemon. Yes. You heard right. She has a posse of Pokemon. She has Dra-Ra, Tsura, and Drego. These three rarely see the inside of a Pokeball. Actually. One might wonder if she even has any of the things. She rarely seems to use them to hold her Pokemon; they seem to wander free. The little gible, Drego, is having a little bit of trouble keeping up. She has to stop from time to time to allow him to catch up, and he always wants to be picked up and held when he does.
Kneeling down, she pets the little dragon. "What am I going to do with you?" She's already done a bit of research. His evolved form is among the fastest Pokemon. Right now, he's vulnerable. She'll be training him and training him hard. Tsura is a little different. She scratches the kitten-like Pokemon on the chin. She can't find any information in any database on her. Sam looks at her. She really seems to be a new species. With a shake of her head, Sam sits done on the beach to watch the waves. The three gather around her and snuggle close. "Well. We'll just have to see about getting some training in." She smirks.
