Okay, those of you that have been to Fuzzy's guild anytime in the past month have probably seen me post this there. However, due to lack of ummm.... activity in that guild, I decided to repost it here.
Click Here to get some basic info about what I'm planning.
Now, the real reason I'm posting this here is that I need some help. Basically I'm looking for people to fill certain jobs so that this game can come out at least halfway decent. Here's what I'm looking for:
Jobs Desperately NeededSpriters: The game's gonna be done in sprites. Enough said. Spriters will need to collaborate with each other to make sure the same sprite isn't beng done multiple times over and to make sure that the spriting styles aren't horribly clashing with each other.Current Spriters: zared_d
Writers: This game needs plot. If it's just people randomly running around killing stuff and gaining weight, it's gonna die after the first week. I want this game to forever be a classic within the WG community as the first real multiplayer expansion game. And for that reason, writers, we need you. For this job, writers will be responsible for coming up with an overarching plot, side quests, and quest dialogue. Also, writers will be responsible for adding character to any major NPCs.Current Writers: None
Developmental Advisors: Yes, I know the position title is some total BS that I made up off the top of my head. However, what the job actually does is not BS and the name can always be changed later. These people will be responsible for coming up with ideas for skills, enemies, and other aspects of the game. You will be responsible for making the game seem unique and fun and making people want to play it.Current "Developmental Advisors": Kinsai-chan_Banned (Maybe)
Jobs Needed, Just Not DesperatelyMusicians: It would be nice if this game had some music. This is something that I could probably do by myself, but it would be helpful if other people contributed also. Original music would be very much preferred if not required. However, due to the fact that the game is done in sprites, I would say that anything even just along the lines of the soundtracks Super Nintendo games had would be more than adequate. The music may have to be able to cover a wide array of game areas (haunted woods, happy grassland, sweltering jungle, etc.), but the type of music required would depend on the whole plot and types of areas decided upon.Current Musicians: Me (Possibly)
Programmers: This is the one job I know I can do and the one for which I least require help. What code I have is currently done in Java and this is the language which I using. Right now I don't plan on having any supporting programmers, but I will consider it.Current programmers: Me (Definitely)
