I wouldn't go so far as to call him 'worthless'.
Even minus the cursed seal, he has the sharingan, taijutsu, fire-style ninjutsu and some swordsmanship under his belt. Curse seal or not, the guy's got game.
i'd like to hope that sasuke would be able to kick itachis a** but the last we heard about sasuke he had talent but itachi had more...sad

GO Itahchi because what would sasuke do if he killed his brother in the first few fights sasuke would no longer have a life goal. no reason to live unless he goes back to Kohana with all his old friends.

That is a good question, in the current manga they are just about ready to throw-down so we will have to see, since I am such a HUGE Akatsuki fangirl I hope Itachi pwns Sasuke. XD XD Little bit o evil there evil

As much as Sasuke being my favorite character, I hope Itachi pawns him, and perhaps this shall be a perfect timing for the Uchiha Massacre revealation, which will be like a kick on Sasuke...I know it sounds cruel, but nothing near as cruel as two brothers fighting each other in a glossy black battle. I'd hate to see that.

By now, we all know how it ends, but I still believe Itachi was stronger. Certainly wasn't as much of a p***y.

Defiantly Itachi I think that it would be a long battle since Sasuke has only wanted to kill him since day 1, but that being said, revenge would be the death of him.
