Snape: Welcome to the close of one year and the opening of a new. As those of you who were FORMER students know, SLYTHERIN WON. Yay my house. -dances in his mind so no one sees how funny he looks in a pink bunny suit- Any ways, it's time to OPEN this school year. This year... we have some twists and turns a head for you but we ALSO have some new rules. These will be put into the guide to the guild forum when the wonderful mods get a little time. But until then let's start out the new year with the first request from our guild's ower. The Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and wizardry, Notsalony.
Snape: Firstly since few of you ever go into the thread formed for the great hall, I'm requesting you go there for the post that will tell you all the things your characters need to know to survive the new year at Hogwarts. Secondly, there are some new rules in play this year. Firstly if you decide to quit the guild or go on hiatus, please tell us. Otherwise your character will be seen as foder to be killed off. NOW, if an accident happens in real life like it did with one of our members this last year, and you can't tell anyone, we are going to have the time hole to bring you back. Any other time... this would be hard to explain.... but not this year.
Snape: Another rule added this year is this, if you do not post with in the next year, by September 2007, you will be sent a letter requesting your presence. After that. You get a good 3 months. Then you'll find yourself kicked out of the guild. I didn't want to do this, but we have several members who join to join, and then never do anything. Please encourage them and yourselves and each other to post more often. The next rule is one I have had to think about quite a bit. I didn't do anything about it before but now you do get something done. Violation of the DO NOT POST HERE sign will now result in a first time warning, and a second time removal from the guild.
Snape: Why have that rule, I figure that if you're going to be breaking that rule twice, you'll probably keep doing it. Like was the case with each member who broke that before. If it has a thing saying don't post here, please mind that rule. Forum thread contruction. If someone creates a thread in the main forum and you do not know if I approved it or not, PM me. DO NOT HARASS THE PERSON. This has gotten on my nerves all 15 times it's happened since I took over the guild. Yes... I took the liberty of counting. It was that high. I love you guys to death, but most of what happens her I've got a hand in. So PM me if you aren't sure I approved something. NO HARASSMENT.
Snape: There are now TWO versions of the story line updates One will be in the form of images, and for those of you who are unable to see the images or need to copy text questions for contests, -hint-, I've seen fit to make a text only story line. Which means I need someone to go back through and retype all the story lines and PM them to me. Who ever wants to do this for me, I'll find a way of paying you back. -HUGS- Now on to the next rule. One I have had to think long and hard about but have decided that we need to have in place because I don't know about you, but I don't like having to handle this.
Snape: Okay since the computer has made me type this three times now this is what I want you to go over if you WANT to become a mod or get on my watch list. Post over 100 times in the guild, be helpful to me / a mod / and/or the guild, follow all the guild rules, DO NOT PM TO ASK TO BE A MOD, enjoy the guild to it's fullest and we'll notice you. You need one guild mod to nomitate you before I'll put you on my list of people to watch to become mods. But if you bug me or them about it, you wont be selected anytime soon.
Snape: Okay, the school year has started up again. SO...
