I don't believe they're a crack pairing. They should be cannon for they have a lot of similarities and a moment of interaction....that's enough proof for my twisted mind. ^^ And when they do get together in the anime/manga I'll drop my shy act and yell, "Hell yeah!" no matter where I am.....and if they don't get together then I'll just have to find out where Kishimoto lives to go castrate, decapitate, and maim (the rest of his body) him. Though I do believe this method is quite mean. -grin-

Aah, well...
I always thought of GaaSaku as really good crack. (Please don't maim me)
But it's not like there's ZERO chance of it becoming canon.

I agree that it's borderline crack or canon- it's kinda somewhere in between. I don't wanna repeat what has already been said...
Although I will say this: There needs to be more interaction between the characters (not just Gaara and Sakura) in general.
I love how Masashi Kishimoto has set up the plot line so far, but I wish there was more character conversations that don't necessarily revolve around the "present chapter story".

I guess that's what fan fiction is for...

-sigh- I know that GaaSaku is inbetween crack and cannon...but I can dream,ne? They're just the most interesting and cutest pairing I have met. ^^ I also agree that Masashi does have a good plot going. -nod-
P.S. I'm not really gonna maim anyone....until my bloodlust kicks in and even then that'll only happen if I see blood. I do have self-control.

I think that every pairing in Naruto could be canon, because there isn't any real one. Some people say NaruSaku is, but they're not completely together. As for the yaoi, I don't think that it would happen, but Gaara and Sakura could be together...I mean mostly all the straight couples have a chance of happening...I know my reasoning sucks... sweatdrop

AsuKure and DanTsu, for example.
