Hi everyone! I'm Gypsy (or Nessa, if you're prefer). I'm a 22 (almost 23!) year old Canadian who calls the beautiful East Coast, Nova Scotia specifically, home. I work for a call center, which is paying the bills while I finish up my honours degree in English Lit at StFX (fellow Xaverians, if you're out there, PM me!) and am very proud of the X Ring currently sitting on my finger.
I'm a would be writer who picks at her craft when she can find a minute and the inspiration, fanatical about literature and Celtic folklore; my favorite authors include JK Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Richard Adams, and VC Andrews. My musical tastes are pretty ecclectic, so I'll spare you the details; suffice it to say I enjoy anything where the performer is not screaming at me incoherently, or where the lyrics are spoken and primarily consist of curse words strung together.
Wow, what else? I'm an old hand on Gaia; I've been here since July of 2003, and have often found myself feeling like an old girl on the boards. I'm really looking forward to some "adult" conversation away from incoherent 12 year olds. blaugh
