i think i shall take my quest bar out of my sig.
the initial reason is to stop n00bish numpties sending me begging PM's mad
but i thought of a more pressing reason, advertising how much gold you have surely makes you a target for hackers sweatdrop so out it comes!

I must admit, I'd be worried about that aspect. I got quest bars from a guild, but I haven't made them up, and don't know if I will, unless I stick them into my journal, where nobody can see them. Lots of people have them in siggies, though.

why be scared Poppe? there is NO SUCH THING as hackers on gaia....
i mean, you are safe until you dont give your pass away 3nodding
there are people holding halos, djs , and milions of goldz, so if it would be possible to hack , they'd be the 1st targets 3nodding
and as to the PMs - "friends only" option does the trick mrgreen heart

You are right, Kim, that's a sensible answer. All those people wearing their riches are a lot more obvious. There's sometimes a lot of talk about hackings, though, and that makes it easy to get a bit paranoid... ninja

but -> im not on gaia for the goldz and itemz ...im here because of my friends !
of course - id be sad if someone would steal my omg, nms, penguins and othe r s**t from me - but those are only pixels...
but, as i said before.. there are no such things as hackings on gaia...

I'd recommend you don't use the same passcode for all of your accounts, especially when everyone knows that all of your mules are you. Just in case, you know?

don't worry about that Erik, i'm not daft, all 9 accounts have different passwords, the one for this account has 15 letters/digits, so good luck to someone trying to work it out rofl
