That has to be the most stupid name Agent has ever come up with. Ever. 8D But it gets a point across, at least. I shall make a note never to use full caps again in a title.

Intro time! Agent has decided to quest for a D-Corp child (and because she finally stopped lurking and decided to actually become active :>). Because her favorite animal above ALL is the Giant Panda, she has decided to quest for that. Although she has other quests to complete, she'll make sure to keep up with this one until she finally manages to get the money and/or wins some sort of contest. <3 It will probably take a long time either way, so she's prepared for the long haul. x]

[The Child]

Name: Zhi Yong (Meaning: Wise and Brave)
Gender: Male
Animal: Giant Panda (Ailuropoda Melanoleuca)

Hairstyle: Long, with long bangs that mostly blend in with his normal hair. Ties it back in a long ponytail. It tends to move around his ears, so that they still show through it.
Hair Colour: Pitch black all the way through.
Skin color: White, though not pure white, because it tends to get dirty easily. He washes it whenever he can, but it still manages to catch everything. His stomach is closer to pure white, though. His arms and legs (and across his chest, with a black tuft of fur that comes off of the normal black area. Like this.) On his back, the black fades slightly, revealing some white areas in the black.
Clothing: Pretty simple, really. Toddler clothes are just black with a bamboo emblem on the bottom of the right leg. The only other thing that he wears is a small necklace with a pendant in the shape of the Chinese symbol for Pure. When he does wear a shirt, it is sleeveless so that he can show the black of his arms.
Personality: Relaxed and confident -until something comes along that is able to shake him up. Under certain circumstances he will protect himself, but only in the situations where he believes that he is actually in danger. His strength and speed are not above average, nor is his mind advanced, but he is relatively good at reading situations. The possibilities of what might happen pass quickly through his mind, but as a child, he doesn't pay much attention to them.
Markings: Well, the eyes are a must, of course. Other than the basic panda-like image (black-and-white), there isn't much that is extremely necessary. His face is white other than the black areas of his eyes, his hair, and his ears. His nose is tiny and black, so it contrasts the white greatly and is easy to see.
Eye color: Very dark grey, showing through the black that goes around his eyes.
Eye style: Small, narrow eyes with a colored area that take up much of it. Small pupils which basically stay the same size, no matter what the lighting is like. Surrounded completely by black fur, which pretty much hide his eyes and make them hard to find.
Pose: Preferably him sitting on his knees, possibly holding his necklace in his hand (when it's not around his neck). It would look a little awkward for him, though, as pandas have a six-fingered paw.
Extra: Just the tail, really. It's stubby, so it's hard to see in most pictures, I'd assume, but he does have it. And his shorts have holes in them for that.

The giant panda has a very distinctive black-and-white coat, and adults measure around 1.5m long and around 75cm tall at the shoulder. It lives in mountainous regions, such as Sichuan, Gansu, Shanxi, and Tibet. While the Chinese dragon has been historically a national emblem for China, since the latter half of the 20th century, the panda has also become an informal national emblem for China, and its image is found on many Chinese gold coins.

Despite being taxonomically a carnivore, the panda has a diet that is overwhelmingly herbivorous. The giant panda eats shoots and leaves, living almost entirely on bamboo. This is believed to be a recent adaptation for the panda. Pandas incapable of surviving solely on bamboo would have died out and this is how they've evolved. Bamboo is virtually the only food source availible to pandas today. It is believed it was originally a supplementray food source, till the panda could find something with a greater nutritional value. As bamboo offers very little nutritionally. Study on this is very limited due to the low population of pandas. Pandas are also known to eat eggs, the occasional fish, and some insects along with their bamboo diet. Wild pandas today do not have very good access to these alternative food sources. These are necessary sources of protein. Some zoos also feed their pandas specially formulated biscuits, fruitsicles or other treats to supplement their bamboo intake. Like other subtropical mammals, the giant panda does not hibernate.

For many decades the precise taxonomic classification of the panda was under debate as both the giant panda and the distantly related red panda share characteristics of both bears and raccoons. However, genetic testing seems to have revealed that giant pandas are true bears and part of the Ursidae family, but one that diverged relatively early from the rest of the family. Its closest bear relative is the Spectacled Bear of South America. (Disagreement remains about whether or not the red panda belongs in Ursidae; the raccoon family, Procyonidae; or in its own family, Ailuridae.)

Giant pandas were an endangered species, threatened by continued habitat loss and by a very low birthrate, both in the wild and in captivity. Poaching is uncommon; killing a panda was punishable in China by death until a 1997 law changed the penalty to 20 years imprisonment.

The giant panda has an unusual paw, with a "thumb" and five fingers; the "thumb" is actually a modified sesamoid bone, which helps the panda to hold the bamboo while eating. The giant panda has a short tail, approximately 15 cm long.

The giant panda has long been a favourite of the public, at least partly on account of the fact that the species has an appealing baby-like cuteness that makes it seem to resemble a living teddy bear. The fact that it is usually depicted reclining peacefully eating bamboo, as opposed to hunting, also adds to its image of innocence. Though the giant panda is often assumed docile because of their cuteness, they have been known to attack humans, usually assumed to be out of irritation rather than predatory behavior.

Giant pandas can usually live to be 20-30 years old while living in captivity.
