I would have never expected Jim Carrey to be Count Olaf in the movie. Though i am a fan of him. Do you think they gave the the part to the right person? cos' i think so

This isn't in relation to your post; it's in relation to your poll. I voted he was once good, because in TPP they are "in the same boat", his parents were killed by the Beaudelaire parents and because he doesn't shoot the harpoon gun; it gets dropped and he says "what else can I do?" as though he's hesitating.

__I think Mr. Carrey was a teribble Olaf. He's a good actor, but he just didn't capture this part. He was not "bad" enuf. I was very, very disapoited.
__And he made the movie seem as if Olaf was the main character, which I believe he is not (sorry to all though's who do think he is so.)

The Jim Carrey thing was the only thing I didn't like. He wasn't nearly evil enough to be count Olaf.

Jim carrey did not at all fit the rolls of count olaf they need a more serious actor,Carrey should play more funny and comical people thats the exact opposite of Olaf
