Quest 2 + 3; Books and finished room!

Fauste was kneeling as she placed a screw to the crib so that the whole thing wouldn''t collapse as soon as something was placed in it. ''Flash was holding up a side of it, peering at Fauste somewhat impaitently.

"I almost have it." Fauste muttered as she turned the screwdriver a few more times, making sure it is secure, "Just two more!"

''Flash gave a small snort at that.

"I know, you''d rather do something else. Just be paitent. Besides you said you would help!" Fauste muttered. The Changeling didn''t exactly say anything, but he gestured that he would. After a few days of toiling at the room, the changeling foal still said nothing to Fauste and she was still clueless about him being able to speak to her verbally. Then again, so was ''Flash, because he never said anything to her, and he just assumed she couldn''t understand even if he did. So they just worked together, used to their one-sided verbal conversations which was often accompanied by a nod or a shake on ''Flash''s part, that or a mental image of some sort. Though the mental images seemed a little weak lately, and this concerned Fauste though she didn''t say anything about it.

By the time they were done with the room though, it looked quite nice. "It looks like Ante''ll always be sleeping under the stars."

Sunflash gave a small whinny and nodded glancing at Fauste for a moment. Fauste smiled a bit petting Sunflash gently on the side of his neck, "After this we will work on your stall, just let me put a finishing touch here and there."

Fauste put the two Phoenix toys in the crib. One was from Minkey, a gift for Ante, and one was from Fauste herself. They looked nice together.

After she was done with that she hung up a leathery item that came from a strange book on the wall above the couch.

And then hung up the other picture she found in a gallery that Odasni copied:

"At least the colors don''t clash...I think." Fauste muttered as she stepped back. Both pictures were framed, so that there would be no harm coming to them.

"Now to put the books on the shelves and we are offically done." Fauste did this with a small hum. ''Flash just watched and followed her around with odds and ends she might need. After that was done Fauste gathered up her tools and nodded to ''Flash, "Time to work on your stall, let''s go." With that Fauste turned off the lights in the new room which awaited the avaling''s arrival.

Fauste stopped by her bedroom to pick up the avaling and it''s carrying pouch, "Sorry it took so long Ante. I want your room to be a total surprise. I hope you understand." She said as she walked outside with ''Flash following after her still. The avaling didn''t give any sign of understanding what she said.

Sunflash nudged the pouch playfully and got out a head of Fauste, running toward his stable with a joyful frolic. Now it was his turn!

Books found, and their descriptions:

Book : Mysterious Creatures // Unicorns, mermaids, dragons, and phoenixes may feel at home in Hogwarts, but references to these and other mysterious creatures go back much further in history. The Bible, Talmud, and Midrash refer to many such strange creatures. In this beautifully designed and richly illustrated book, Nosson Slifkin, the famed "zoo rabbi" and author of Seasons of Life, Nature''s Song, and The Science of Torah, examines a host of mythic and not so mythic creatures from both their Torah descriptions and modern zoological research, giving us a new perspective on the interface between science, myth, and Torah thought.

Book : The Phoenix and the Carpet // The four children acquired the magic carpet when they found a special fire egg -- it hatched in their nursery fireplace. The phoenix came from the egg, and when he saw their mother''s new Persian rug, he showed them that it was a magical thing -- a flying carpet that would take them any time and that place they could wish for. Witty, genuine, full of timeless sympathy and childish sensibility, The Phoenix and the Carpet offers a special ride through wonders for children of all ages.

Book : David and the Phoenix // A boy new to the neighborhood climbs the mountain behind his home, befriends a mythical beast, and receives an education among gryphons, sea monsters, witches, and banshees.

Book Set : Phoenix : a series // Each volume can stand alone, and this one is the first to appear in English in its entirety. In 3404, Earth is nearly dead. Everyone lives underground in one of five capitals. Space patrolman Masato lives with his Moopie, a creature that can assume any form (in this case, a beautiful woman), and with whom he has fallen in love. As all Moopies are to be destroyed, he takes her and escapes aboveground, where he crash-lands in a lab. Throughout his adventure, a vision of a phoenix appears and tells Masato that it is up to him to re-create mankind after its impending destruction. He also learns that he has been made immortal, and then lives alone for thousands of years until human civilization can be created anew. Written by Osamu Tezuka.

Book : The Sun: Our Nearest Star // Basic discussion of the sun and its importance to life on this planet. The pictures and text work closely together to impart such information as how large, hot, and distant the sun is, and how its energy is stored, not only in the foods we eat, but also in the fossil fuels we use.
