Kara ran into her home with a happy grin on her face, carrying a bundling of something carefully in her arms. She soon came to a halt and called out to everyone cheerfully, then looked down at the bundle, the Deejarne egg, in her arms, giving an involuntary squeak upon doing so. Yes, her new arrival made her very, very happy. Upon seeing the faces of her Dreams, Fancies and two Deejarne, she bounced a few times while shouting out, "We have a new member of the family! Everyone, say hello to Konrad!" With that, she shifted her arms so that her family could see the egg, which gave a little twitch in response.
Lloyd frowned a bit and moved his head closer, sniffing at the air. Another little brother? Heck, he had way too many siblings already...
Kukki, however, was pleased about this. Raising Takikori from when he was a child was a special experience, and she didn't doubt that raising Konrad would be any different. And how right she would be.
Kara widened her smile, then held the Deejarne egg close, sharing her body heat while speaking, "From what I've seen of the character Konrad is based off of... he'll be a lot like you, Taki."
If the prospect of a new brother didn't catch Takikori's interest, the information that he'd be a lot like himself did. He gave a little smile at that. Raising this Deejarne would be easier than he thought...
With another squeak, the sole human in the house bounded about the room until she went up the stairs and to her room, hearing her other Dreams follow behind her with curiosity. Upon entering her room, the girl shifted the egg carefully to one arm, then grabbed the warmest blanket she had and wrapped it around the Deejarne egg, making sure not to crush its wings, then set it gently on her most comfortable pillow. "Anyone have a heating pad?" Kara asked, looking over her shoulder and at her Dreams.
"I dooooooooo!" Shikai answered without hesitation, then sprinted quickly out of Kara's room and to her own. No one seemed to question why or how she had heating pads, but instead, leaned back and watched as Shikai grabbed about three of the items Kara asked for and dashed back to her owner's room. Each heating pad seemed to have an anime face on them, which made everyone wonder even more. "Hit these a few, a few times, and you'll, you'll have heat!"
Kara smiled and replied, "Thanks, Shikai" before taking the heating pads and slapping them against her hands, soon feeling a soothing warmth emit from them. With a final squeak, she plached the heating bags under the blankets that surrounded the egg, then sat back to admire her work. "Well, guys... I'll have to keep a close watch on Konrad. I know it'll take a while for him to hatch, but... well, better safe than sorry, right?"
And there, Kara would stay until Konrad would hatch...

Takikori sat on the edge of the bed, keeping a watch on the Deejarne egg that Kara had brought home yesterday. Kara herself was asleep on the floor at the moment, and he silently took up the duty to keep watch on the egg. The overseer of all Dreams, Lord Changeling, had told the girl that the egg would hatch tomorrow, so she figured she could sleep until then. The Deejarne just chuckled and shook his head. LC had a way of being tricky...
And indeed he did. Takikori's ears perked slightly as he heard the sounds of cracking, which sounded the same as when Alegria hatched from his egg. He looked over at the egg, amused at the state it was in - moving and wriggling with a large blanket wrapped around it.
Konrad finally pushed out of the hard exterior that he had been trapped in for a day or so, having finally been strong enough to break out of it. He didn't know what he'd see outside of his dark and warm world, but he certainly didn't expect to see another world just like it. Only, this world was slightly... fuzzy as well. He pushed at the world around him, surprised that it could actually move. The baby Deejarne couldn't help but give a squeak as the world moved suddenly, revealing another one that was much bigger and not dark at all.
Blinking his big brown eyes, he looked around this brand new world, letting them soon fall upon the girl sprawled on the floor with a comforter around her. With a slight frown, he tried to lean forward and see if she was alright, but he ended up tumbling on the bed, letting out a small cry because of it.
Takikori gave another soft chuckle, then placed a gentle hand on Konrad before helping him to sitting position once again. "Be careful, little one." He remarked, giving the baby Deejarne a small smile.
The little Deejarne was quite surprised that someone was helping him, and even more surprised at the very tall Deejarne that smiled and gave him the first advice of his life. He somehow understood the command, even though he didn't quite know how to speak yet. In return, Konrad pointed at Kara with a questioning look on his face.
After looking towards where Konrad had pointed, Takikori shook his head in amusement and returned to smiling a bit at the newly born Deejarne, saying reassuringly, "She'll be fine. She's only asleep. And be prepared to be squeezed once she awakens. Karalen has been expected you to arrive."
"...Ka... rrrra... len?" Konrad responded, working his mouth in order to let the experimental name come from it correctly. Upon saying this, however, he soon found himself scooped up and squeezed in someone's arms, making him give an "URK!" in response.
Kara had woken up as soon as she heard the different voice in the room, and immediately after she saw the new baby Deejarne say her name, she shot forward and wrapped her arms around Konrad, saying "Oh my God!" over and over. She grinned widely, holding Konrad close to herself, then loosened her hold after a long moment in order to hold the Deejarne at arm's length to get a good look at him. "You're here!" She cried out, happy tears seeming to appear in her eyes. "You're finally here! We-Welcome to your home, Konrad!"
The little Deejarne just smiled and gave a little sweatdrop, nodding in return to the crazy girl. He couldn't help but wonder just how life being here would be like...

Taki just told me what the strange feelings I have for Kratos are. Apparently... It's love. And I don't mean the kind of love that I feel for my siblings. I mean... Like Taki and Ejhani love. Like Autumn and Destin love. That type. I'm... not sure what to think about that. I think... I'm almost afraid. I mean, I've never felt this before! What if... What if Kratos doesn't feel the same for me? If I told him how I felt, then he'd never want to be near me again!
Still, I can't keep lying to him. So... next time I see him, I'll tell him how I feel. Regardless of how hard it'll be to do so...

He loves me! He really loves me! Kratos... Kratos loves me!
...
He loves me!
I gave him a note with the words "I Love You" on it, Taki had taught me how to read and write the alphabet and those words, so... I gave Kratos the note, and... he loves me too!
...
HE LOVES ME!
