LordKurai Prayer does not get you into heaven. your liveing "For God" does. you know about the sinners prayer? it's made up, it's nowhere in the bible, someone just thought it up. The Whole purpose of the sinners prayer is to commit yourself, it's like a reminder, or wakeup call for you to feel actually commitment instead of you just saying, "okay im gonna follow Christ now", instead you have a commitment in your heart to God, see? By the way, I don't mean to sound like i'm just trying to correct you, i'm just trying to make sure others are not confused aswell. Your brother in Christ, Matthew I'm sorry, but I beg to differ. Agreed that the "sinner's prayer" is nowhere in the bible, but also, where in the bible does it say "If you live your life for God, you will go to heaven"? John 3:18 He who believes in Him [Jesus] is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned alread, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of the Father John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him John 20:31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and the believing you may have life in His name. Acts 16:31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." Ephesians 2:8-9 For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Not of works, lest anyone should boast. We're saived by faith in Christ. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved", not might be saved. If you believe Jesus alone is your saviour and have accepted his gift, then you don't have to worry about going to hell. Have you tried praying about this? Prayer's awesome and it works too! : )

Honey, if you believe in God, do your best, and don't give in to the Devils temptations, you will just sail right through! No one ever said you had to be perfect to get into heaven. God knows what it's like down here. He created it! So don't worry about it. I'm sure you'll be just fine. And, if you still feel uncomfortable, talk to God about it. His line is never busy. wink

Sheikeh Jesusfreak1988 WhiteMagicks I really, truly am terrified I am going to hell when I die. I have nightmares, I always see satans face, and I'm scared to death. Please help. Well, have you accepted Jesus as your savior yet? Yes. But Jesus only saves the good people, so I'm afraid that I won't compare to say, the Pope. Hey, man, all you gotta do is accept God. It dosen't matter if you're bad (just as long as you ask for forgiveness biggrin ) you're still headin' up!

Nameless_Angel_13 how do you see satans face,the most beautiful person is satan if i do recall correctly,and you are in a way supposed to fear going to hell but your directing it as if you are scared of satan,dont fear earthly failure,fear God for he will decide where you go,get close to him,spread His word ,and try not to betray him,just believe in him and love Him and you can be forgiven and you can be allowed into heaven it's not enough to just believe.. even the demons believe Jesus is real but that soan't mean that they are going to heaven.. you have to be saved!!!!!!

I don't suppose you recall the bible stating how Satan is the father of LIES? Just because you have dreams about him or Hell supposedly, doesn't mean you're actually going to Hell. Not trying to sound sarcastic or anything so don't take this offensively, but its called a "nightmare" for a reason.
Trying to interrupt dreams is like trying to interrupt art. Basically, its futile. Sometimes you can pinpoint a meaning, but most of the time dreams can mean ANYTHING.
For instance, the color red in the dream can mean you were previously angry during the day or it could mean that someone you love is near you. It could mean anything.
Dreams about satan? So what? Its a DREAM about Satan. I have dreams about demons, but Satan is a demon. Its just his way of scaring you, of trying to push you from God. Remember the bible warns in some specific verses that christians will suffer a lot more than unbelievers. Satan HATES us believers and he'll most likely do what it takes to torture us, "haunt" us physically or in our dreams.
You're not going to hell.

You will be considered a "good person" when you accept Christ as your savior and you're willing and trying to change. Everybody has sin in their life, if you fight against it you're good. No human can prevent themselves from sinning permanently but you need to try. Romans 7:20 says: Now if i do what i do not want to do, it is no longer i who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 3nodding
