Do we know what the classes are? I love magic so I hope there is a magic one (which obviously there will be since there is always a magic one)!

I hate class like states, it always makes me feel like I am to weak in some class because I hate using it.

If simple numbers and mechanics are the only thing that matters to you then I can see how you wouldn't be happy. On the other hand the freedom of personal expression will be wonderful. People won't have to look all alike to be the best. It's an unfortunate syndrome in most MMORPGs or RPG video games. Characters all start looking alike because of the predefined relation of items to abilities.

Ahhh, rings. Mix and match for whatever you feel like (though personal fav comboes will come into play).
But oh you should have seen the whining in the main Battle System forum. Apparently some bratty richos couldn't stand not having a advantage over the less wealthy lol .
Anyways, I'm all for customzabilty and a equal footing.

"I have to earn the Higher Ability first before I can go out and just pay to have some one else's Higher Level Ring? Like Whatever this system sucks. You ruined it Gaia"And here I thought that the "Richer" Gaian's were complaining about Gaia's not aiming enough items at them and they have nothing to work for. Well, you got what you wished for! lol I'm really glad the Quixter did something about that problem. I agree, equal footing all around.

I've avoided the zOMG forum for exactly this reason. I had a suspicion
that the "priviledged" Gaians wouldn't be happy, with certain aspects
of the battle system.
Although, to be honest..
The people I'm worried about are the ones, who quest and battle their
lives away. You should remember to eat, sleep, socialize and work, wh-
ether it's for a good education or a reliable pay- check.
Exercising's a nice idea, too. *sighs impatiently* And I wasn't referring
to your thumbs, either. Step away from your controller, keyboard, and
get out of your room. *snaps her fingers and points* ..now.
*shudders and lowers her voice to a bare whisper* That's kind of scary.
Maybe this hereditary B.S. is actually true.

one thing i dont get is if the battle system is only useing rings and not having classes or weps. why would it be takeing so long i know they have the beta out but thats been out for about a couple of months now. so why are they wasting sooo much time on something sooo simple. i really think couldnt be too hard fix bugs and other things. im starting to be a little disapointed.
