"I'm sure you will. We were overjoyed to be parents, and no-one truly knows how it's done... but whatever happens, your children will always have a place for you, and you can be pleased that you have raised successors to the lands you love." He dipped his head, smiling in an attempt to comfort the lioness who suddenly seemed a little uncertain. He didn't want to put her offbalance.

"So do not despair if and when it happens, or worry," he said lightly.

Améh nodded slowly, for the moment her worries set to rest. It was nice to think of it in such a broad view. But U’yosi had brought a new dilemma into her calculations- he was right. Children had to have some place to grow into. It wouldn’t do to simply pop them out as wayward ghosts. She wanted them to have someplace to fall back on. It would be something to consider in the future.

Politely, she waved her paw and gently giggled. “I am sorry though- I took a walk to forget what I was worrying about, and here I am rehashing it. Thank you, though.” She admitted honestly, dropping the aloof expression and nodding appreciatively. “It really does help.” And a grin cracked across her face. “I only wish my mate was as open.”

As it was- Phib already had children from previous relationships. She heard little about them however, and he seemed somewhat reluctant to talk about it so she’d never asked.

She rose her head to regard the terrain more collectivly. "It is a good place, here. Such a place should not be so empty forever."

The dark lion bowed his head in return, a warm smile on his face as he looked up again.

"I'm glad I could offer some small words of assistance. And... I hope so." His deep voice took on a slightly stronger tone. "It is my dream to see these lands so filled as the ones I grew up in, where many clans can exist peacefully with each other and the spirits, where our old ways will not die but grow up with the new."

He looked back slightly, eyes serious.
"And if you travel on, feel free to tell other travellers of our lands. We do not begrudge the occasional wanderer."

It was nice here- much more so then she had thought as she climbed the way up from the lowlands. It was quiet and still- something that probably the lands had had their fill of, but she found it pleasing to have a moments pause from her thoughts. "I will." She spoke, absorbing the landscape to memory. For as empowered as she was- she failed at directions. In fact, she probably could not have found her way out of a paper box had she had such the occasion to get trapped inside of one. She found her way back to Phib largely because she felt for him- but going to a place inanimate was a different story.

Listening to his speech on his hopes for his land filled her with a soft happiness. It enthralled her to hear people with ambitions and dreams. It worried her greatly when people went without them.

"I hope it does- I really do." She spoke enthusiastically. "I don't doubt it will be long- I have much faith in it." Ameh confirmed with a gentle bob of her head. "I think I will come back here- perhaps sometime in the future. I would love to see the place you want it to be. It sounds like the way things were..." She cocked her head to the side sagely, and thought back. This time of her life was no doubt her prized one- but, she would always remember those she had met centuries before.

U'yosi dipped his head to the side with a rueful smile. "Mine are just the hopes of one lion, but I appreciate your wellwishes. Truly I have met a gentle soul today..... and I hope next time you pass by, these lands will be more happy and prosperous."

Améh shook her head slowly, her eyes brightened by his comment. "No- I think sometimes it only takes the dreams of one person to make something happen. Too few people wait for a mob to join onto an idea when all we really remember about ideas are the persons who are starting them." One thing was for certain- she liked this place. And if the people were anything like this male, she loved its people. Although she adored traveling with Phib- for the first time she regretted the time she had missed. There was a time when all she had done was drift about like a wayward ghost. She had no attatchments- but she met many people, and she had taken part in their lives; if only for a moment.

No doubt the time for it would come again-... and the thought of it made her heart sink somewhat.

There was a scent on the wind- and it caught her attention. "What will you do, when that time comes?" She questioned. "Do you have plans?"

U'yosi blinked his stone grey eyes with a slight air of thoughtfulness. "I... I don't know yet," he admitted. "I'd rather work my hardest to get there first, and then enjoy it when I get there... if that makes sense?" His laugh was a rumble in the back of his throat, and he smiled sadly, before also lifting his head a little at a slight tang on the wind.

The scent on the wind did indeed belong to another member of the Ela'wadiyi. And though this certain individual was not of U'yosi's clan such differences did not seem to matter so much anymore.

In fact the Shadow clan seemed all but gone, it's last remaining member alone but at the same time not alone. For he had met not one, not two but three other members, two of Sky clan and one of Wolf and hope was not gone just yet.

Whether he found any members of old, Ona'raha had made it his goal to rekindle his Clan no matter what the cost.

His eyes rose up from watching the steps of his paws to dwindle upon the horizon and it was with this that he spotted two figures; one dark brown and one white.

He tilted his head curiously but his fear was immediately extinguished as he spotted the swirls of tattoos on the darker one's form. The white one too seemed to bear golden markings but though she was clearly adult her pelt was not as covered as it should be.

A lost member perhaps?

He moved through the grass, his small and stocky body moving with more energy.

Since coming to the lands his ribs had begun to fade from sight and he had actually taken time to groom his fur so that it was clean and smooth. His shaggy mane was still quite wild however and obviously needed to be seen to by someone else as he could not reach by himself.

He made no sound as he approached but he also didn't hide himself, moving so that the others could pick him out clearly.

U'yosi's eyes followed the slight, windblown scent. There, white against the red land.... a younger male? He stood straighter, setting his paws slightly. He wouldn't let harm come to the lioness, though the spirits only knew they were probably faster at getting away, and fighting, come to that. But it was his duty, nevertheless.

"Who travels this way?" He called strongly, no threat in his voice, only a slight guarded expression in those grey eyes. But as the other came closer he stilled, staring at the pale markings that decorated the younger male's coat.

Ela'wadiyi? Shadow clan, if he remembered, but none of those had travelled this way, he was sure!

Améh turned her head, her face falling to a soft smile as the other male slowly approached. He seemed somewhat cautious- but he made no effort to distort his figure from the landscape. Distinctive markings littered his back in swirling patterns that intrigued her eyes- not quite as full flourished as U’yosi; a younger male perhaps? It pleased her to see he was in good health- although that was somewhat haphazard observation. Someone who had recovered much from time abroad.

“Hello there love,” She spoke softly, and flattened her ears in a submissive posture. It occured to her in the back of her mind- the part of her which often stirred itself back up as a kind of guiding voice; noted that perhaps it would be best to allow U’yosi to speak more prominently, being an outsider herself.

As the other male straightened and clearly became aware of Ona's presence. It was both his posture and his strong voice that caught the young Ela'wadiyian by surprise. He supposed thinking about it now it was stupid to approach a male in the way he had. Perhaps the female was his mate and he was protective of her...

As he glanced between them it certainly seemed that way.

"I..." His throat tightened and his ears flattened sheepishly, it was too late now, he had no choice but to speak!

It was Améh's kind words that finally allowed him to introduce himself and pawing gently at the ground in a rather coy fashion he tried again.

"I am Ona'raha Subiani, only born son of A'kiutu Subiani and Fa'moyo Abadan. I am of the Shadow Clan." He used the names of his parents only to see if a glimer of recgnition passed through the males face.

"I'm sorry for intruding, I don't mean to take your lioness from you or anything." His eyes quivered nervously between the two of them, obviously unaware of how wrong his assumption was. "I just wanted to find some more Ela'wadiyi. I'm...lonely."
