How does mail work in Japan and how can people in America send stuff to a japanese adress? I'm trying to send some fan mail, and i have the adress, but sweatdrop i don't know what to do confused

I send things to my friend in Japan. All she did was give me her address in English and she recieved it okay. Make sure you write the address in English coz the American post office won't know what to do with it. Luckily the post offices in Japan can read English addresses.

yea its the same i have a pen pal in korea and i just have the adress in english and it works perfectly
