Shouko meandered into the community pool area to come visit Fuyumi for afew hours. It was aparent no one seemed to be around as she entered, or she wasn't paying attention really well. She was looking down at her clip board afterall.

Moros skittered in as red fox and circled the pool in a little traveling walk. He darted past Shouko and stopped near the edge.

"Jeffey!!! Don't drown!!! JEFFEY!!! I know youi're not listening to me luv!"

Jeffey whimpered at the bottom of the community pool wishing that throwing stuff at the stupid fox actually worked. Every day he had the whining fox telling him to do stuff, but at least now he was out where he could play and talk to other fish...if only there were other fish to play with.

Cerulean hair bounced softly and lightly as Petra made her way to the community pool. The young woman had been so busy of late that she had rarely had any oppurtunities to visit her little one especially after she was moved to the community pool once she had grown.

Pushing her way past the doors, she arrived into the pool area and immediately her attentions were caught by the shouting of a... fox? With an expression that all but screamed that she thought the fox-man to be a nutcase, she slowly walked over to the pool edge, seeking out June.

---

The mocha colored shark-girl swam freely in the large pool, barely noticing that there were others there as well. She had been lonely at the pool, yes, but the sheer size of the place filled her with joy. At the sound of an all too familiar shouting, June giggled.

Stifling her giggles with her child-like hands over her mouth but then her light blue eyes spotted a familiar figure at the water's edge, though blurred from the ripples, hope filled her. Rapidly, the child made ascended to the open air to see if visitor was who she thought it to be.

Jeffey looked about in the darkness of the bottom of the pool curiously. He swam closer to the middle then waited a moment to see if his mind wasn't playing games on him.

"Hello?" he called hoping that he had heard right, "Is someone out there?"
===

Moros yawned loudly half aware of the fact that there was a blue haired woman. Her hair caught the most attention to the hungry blue paint loving fox as a possible snack. His eyes followed her carefully waiting for a moment to leap on her head and gobble some down.

Shouko looked up smilling at those who entered. " Hello! " She smiled, waving, to herself she murmured silently. " It's nice to see people... " She looked over the edge of the pool noticing the gathering of several of the specimens, with a smile she saw her own who was sitting at the edge of the tank that seperated her from the salty water's below her.

~~~
Fuyumi blinked her eyes and wiggled her little nose, curls bouncing around ehr face. " Friends? " She thought allowed trying to get their attention, not having noticed her caretaker sitting by her.
A pair of flip-flops' loud clapping sounded at the Community Pool. A small, fish-patterned towel hung from Eloise's arms. No, she hadn't planned to go swimming, but previous experience had taught her that there was the chance of getting splashed. Especially if...
"Ooh!" Eloise gasped, frustrated. "It's a little bit wet, thank you," she finished, squeezing water out of the end of her dress.
"Sort of the point, dearie," replied an Aeraen dressed for the beach, in her yellow-orange bathingsuit and black swimshorts.
The other girl hardly thought of the restoration facilities as a laboratory, aside from the obvious studies. She enjoyed being near the "specimens", which she would rather refer to as "sweeties" and "darlings". Though, as much as she'd have liked to jump right on in there, she'd also heard that it might not be the best idea. Also, there was that one time Yshe had bitten her and, well...
As for Yshe the eel, she swam right alongside her own Tall Ones. You see, she figured that, as much time at Tall One Number Two spent around her, she owned her as well. She remembered a time when she had not been too fond of this One. The eel had assumed that Number Two had been trying to take Number One away. However, she soon discovered that she was lucky enough to have two Tall Ones!
Wasn't she the luckiest little eel?
As Lily walked along the the side of the community pool. a young girl of about 14 was walking with her black pants rolled up and no socks or shoes. it was like she wasn't even there. she walked along with her hands behind her back looking into the pool of water that had belonged to the community. the water rippled in the pool. she looked in to see if she could find Ryoko, the last Carribean Monk Seal in the world.
Ryoko, peeked his head out of a hole and he looked around for something. anything. just something to cure his boredom. he looked and saw something. he swam over as fast as his little seal body over to it and he looked at it. false alarm... it was onto some dirt stuck on the inside of the pool. he thought it was a penny or something else fun to playwith.
As the dread-locked shark swam past the foxface, she flashed him a smile showing her pearly teeth before continuing until she broke through the water's surface. June began to jump up and down in the water excitedly as she saw that it was indeed her blue haired guardian. Splashing about with arms waving wildly in the air, she called to the woman.
Slowly though, her attention was drawn to a brightly colored fish and she again flashed the other child a smile before going back to her troublesome self.
---
The young woman stood crouched at the pool's edge, her hand held slightly over the water when she heard a greeting. Looking up to see who had spoken, Petra smiled at the other woman.
"Hello. I'm Petra Fiey..." then she was interrupted at the wild calling of her charge and winced as if in pain by the child's set of lungs, "and that is my charge, June."
The young woman would have held out her hand to Shouko but it had gotten wet from June's antics and so she gave an apologetic smile while she gave a somewhat narrowed glare at the man she had seen earlier. The way he kept staring at her hair caused her hands to clench, but she kept up a smile.
Shouko smiled, surpressing a small chuckle at June's antics towards her caretaker. "My name is Shouko, Hiirigizawa Shouko. Pleasure to make your aqquaintance." She commented, noticing a ranodm burst of activity around the pool today. "My, my. There's quite alot of people here today."
It was a lovely turn of events for that day in the pool, it wasn't often you'd get many people showing up. There and again you'd see some of them coming to do their research but rarely at the same time. This truly was a rare event.
~~~

Fuyumi blinked at all the people around today and all the specimens who had shown their faces in the process. It amazed her. She never expected so many to be about. Even though this was true it hurt in the pit of her stomach, she was bound to a seperate tank while they all enjoyed the freedom to mosey around each other without restraint.

"Friends!" She called out desprately wanting one of them to look at her. She splashed some of the freshw ater from ehr tank into the salt water below her. The balance in salt wouldn't be affected by her action, afterall the community pool connected to the outside through a surfaced tunnel so when the specimens grewn too big for the pool itself, and outside pen would be provided.

"It doesn't matter-" Eloise straightened out her skirt as best as possible. "-if that's the point."
In public, the two friends were practically polar opposites, indeed. All Ellie wanted to do was sink into the surroundings- mind her own business- if someone wanted to talk to her, they'd have to do it themself.
Then, there was Aeraen, who'd splash a stranger with water and talk to them like they'd been "best friends fo-evah".

Aeraen just shrugged. It wasn't that big of a deal- her friend wasn't really so concerned about the clothes. She just wanted something to complain about. She was just that sort of paranoid person.
"I think we've lost our friend..."

Being the easily distracted eel-girl she was, Yshe had slipped away from her Tall Ones and began to better explore the pool. When she first tried to better take to the water, her new, human-esque upper half had tipped forward. She still wasn't very used to this new body, especially the two limbs sticking out from her sides.
But amidst all the unfamiliarity, she did manage to find a familiar face. It was the Tall Fish- well, she supposed she herself looked a bit like a Tall Fish as well. How strange.
Yshe put her small hands up to the glass seperating the two water types and.. blew bubbles.

((She's all person-y because. :3))

Set amongst a larger group of fish Jeffy felt shy to introduce himself. The eel girl had winked at him but when the others came his confidence fled out the window. One fish was okay but a whole school of various fish people gave him a complex. It made him wonder if he was weird or strange or even slightly off beat. The desire to be completly normal was strong within him ever since the first day he met Moros. However, his behavior wasn't anything but odd as he swam down shyly towards the bottom of the tank talking himself.

"What am I going to do?" He murmured softly swiming in little circles, "What if I don't like them? What if they're like that fox?!"

---

Moros scratched his ear with his back paw sitting on the floor in fox form. He ressembled a fox with one eye poked out and another eye around the forehead region. The hair was tempting but there was a good chance that there might be a nice bucket of fish parts available for pranks. He skittered around the edge searching for the scent of fish.

Fuyumi blinked at the girl who was blowing bubbles at her. She had such familiar coloring, but from where!? From where....

"ARRY!" She squeaked in the water, making faces against the glass back at Yshe. This fishy was with ARRY.

Shouko continued to scan and noticed Aeraen and Eloise enter, she gave them a lazy wave as she watched for what in the world the fox was doing. The fox she knew well....Her children were married with most of his.

Yshe screamed back through the glass, still being unfamiliar with the whole "speech" idea.
She pulled herself up, partially out of the water. No easy task, as her species wasn't well-designed to be floating. Usually, she just laid about.
The little girl squirted water out of her mouth and, finally, returned a funny face to the Tall Fish.
"ARRY," she repeated.

"Yshe..."
Eloise sighed and followed along after her charge. She really would have to get into teaching the girl some manners.. or something like that, anyway.
"Oh..."
So, Yshe had found the Betta mermaid from one of the other Community Pool trips. Eloise settled herself on the edge of the pool and pulled out her notebook. This might be a good time to observe social behavior... Yeah.

While Eloise was distracted by the fleeing of her eel-girl, Aeraen had taken a look around the pool. She noted a grand total of four other people, not including her friend, three merpeople, and one.. seal. Interesting.
She returned Shouko's wave and quickly darted over to greet the only familiar person about.
"So, we meet again, eh? Lovely weather, I'd say- quite the turnout. But we're all asking the same question: Who will win- who will take the gold!?"

Ryoko was bored. he had not met anyone yet. He was introduced to the researcher that would be taking care of him now and again, but nothing special there. he swam around the nearly empty pool in small loops. after a while, he got dizzy from swimming in loops, so he stoped and drifted in the pool for a while. he swam near the edge of the pool where it had been a bigger area to swim around the pool instead of near the middle where you can swim in teeny tiny circles.

Lily kneeled near the pool but carefull not to fall in. she knew there were fishies in there and they wouldn't like it if she disrupted their community pool. "Ryoko... Ryoko..." she whispered at the pool of water softly. She had met the sea creature she had to research once before, but she wanted to see the seal again. she whispered again, "Ryoko... Ryoko..." into the pool.

Ryoko, remembering his name, heard it, just softly, but he heard it. He raised his head out of the water and saw his researcher, Lily. He had splashed a bit of water onto her as he had arrived above the water. he made a small sound in delight at the young girl who had to take notes of how Ryoko was. she couldn't let him die, he was an almost-except-for-one extinct animal.
