Duhushi walked along the Prideland borders. His trip back to the graveyard had been so fulfilling but there seemed to be something pulling him back. An uneasy feeling that something was wrong. His mane stayed on end as he watched the sun beginning to set behind the massive rock. Something was definately wrong. Whether it was his fault or not, he still worried.
The purple male tried to keep the feeling at bay as he wandered closer to the waterhole. He knew that he was no longer a true pridelander and being caught could be a problem. With whatever was happening over there, it couldn't be good for his image. A dark cloud seemed to cast over the beautiful colors.
His handsome reflection starred back at him. He watched closely as his reflection shattered into ripples of purple at the touch of his paw. He wasn't really thirsty but water was so rare within the bones.

Isi bumbled along, a little to the inside of the Pridelands, trying to get her barings. Which direction was Priderock? She couldn't see it, only sparse tree's and grass filled her view. Tiredness ebbed at her, slowing her down. The lioness's tongue felt slightly pasty. She could already sortof see a nice waterhole. That's what was so great about this place, water was everywhere! Isi bounded over to the watering hole, not noticing the other lion, and began to lap up the water slowly, barely holding back greed. The water cooled her dry throat, and sharpened her senses. Still not noticing the lion, she sat down, with a content purr. Isi was happy she would hopefully be staying in this wonderful place. She had yet to meet many of the pride, only Jini, but the land was great! Abundant rabbits, especially, made her sure she wanted to stay here.

Duhushi finally decided to take a small drink. The trip here hadn't made him thristy, staring at the water did. The refreshing cool was welcomed as he gulped down more of the clear water. He certainly noticed the other female across from him. A smirk grew on his maw as watched her. his tails with Amleth were fewer and he needed companionship.
The smirk grew wider at the fact that it was female companionship.
Wiping the smirk quickly from his face, Duhushi smacked a fake smile where it had been. "Hello there Miss."

Isi jumped at the sound of anothers voice. "Oh.. uh.. hi!" The lioness grinned, and slowed her breathing down. She had thought she was all alone. Hmm. "I'm Isi." Isi said, with a curt nod. The black lioness was suprisingly, calm, for once.
"Who are you?" Her voice was quiet, and it became evident she was slowly running out of energy. This lion seemed nice.. He was smiling, and he said Miss, which irked her slightly.. but whatever. Plus, he looked sortof like her. Okay, barely.. but it was nice to think she had found a long lost brother.

Duhushi chuckled lightly. "Hello Isi." His tail flicked about behind him as he sat on the shore. "What brings you to thee waterhole?" It was a stupid question but he wasn't too good with small talk lest he have a decent topic. Tail curling around his haunches, he flipped his mane back to keep it from his eyes.
"I am Mtafutaj'Duhushi. Prince of thr Graveyard pride."
He hadn't used his formal greeting for some time and it felt wonderful to use it again. Being back home had really brought out his cockiness once more.

Isi smiled goofily. "I was thirsty. I guess." She shrugged, shoulders rolling abck as she grinned. Dancing around on her paws lightly, the lioness couldn't help but think how polite this lion was! Couldn't be related, then. Oh well!
"What a long name. My full name is Isipho. You're a prince?" She raised a brow. Isi had never met a prince before! How exciting! "Graveyard pride? Where's that?' She had heard that name somewhere before.. Where, thoguh?

"Makes sense I guess." He smiled widely and crossed his paws. He had to be careful around others. She may have been friendly but it was always the goofy ones you had to watch out for. "The Maziko pride would be in the Graveyard. We are looking for others to join us but the pridelands are much more inviting."
There were no problems nor plots to take over the bones. It was quite a decent place to live but oh well.

Isi nodded in a sagelike manner, and finally sat down on her rump with a little 'whumpfh!'. "Inviting? You mean, they invited you over here? I wish I had been invited.." Oh well, surely they would allow herself in, she never hurt anyone.. they would like her. "Oh, I'd join, but the Pridelands are too 'inviting'." The lioness giggled at her little joke, not something she often risked doing, but it sounded hysterical in her ears.

Duhushi watched her with a confused temper. He wasn;t angry...just bewildered. He coughed ;ightly and nodded. "I was never invited persay..." His mind went back to when he was forced into near servitude. "I happen to be very well aquainted with the soon to be queen." The purple prince wasn't used to entertaining nor rousing a laugh when with others but a small one split his maw.
"Weel Isi, I see that you're going to need all the help you can get to enter the pridelands."

Isipho blinked and looked at him. "Oh." The poor lioness just didn't get it, and would probably be pondering over this for quite some time. "Oooh, a queen? Neat!" She grinned. Maybe someday she would get to meet a queen! Maybe.
"Huh? I need help? Why?" A puzzled look crossed her face and the lioness looked at him expectantly.

Duhushi chuckled. She seemed so maliable. Like clay from the earth. That dark red clay. "Yes, the queen." He wasn't really sure if Kiuma would actually make it to queen but it was worth a shot. "I am quite good friends with her. We travelled for a bit actually."
She would need help. Much too dense to make sense of where she was going probably. "No matter. Maybe I could help you get within the pride?"

Silver eyes widened in awe, and she looked at Duhu admiringly. He knew a queen! No, he was friends with A queen! The mere prospect left her even more humbled. "You.. would help.. me?"
Isi grinned widely. "Please, could you help me? I want to get into the Pride, I'm sure!"
