So far, her origins are still shrouded in mystery. The Hoshinohate.com site suggests she might even be a demon, though that could just be a fan's wish. Looking at her, she seems almost Indian (as in Hindu, though she COULD look like a Native American, I suppose). I guess we'll know when Akamatsu-sensei decides to reveal more about her smile

who knows *spoiler ahead* rumor has it that she's a demon. I wonder what the origin of her name came from.
on the other hand, Zazie is the sex. Especially all the magic that she does.

Like a certain vampire, being of a darker species doesn't make one evil, so even if Zazieis a demon, she could still be nice.

I don't think it's necessary to spoilerize theories of Zazie being a demon because speculation on that topic goes back to the full page spread in, like, volume 1 where she appears to have what may be claws.

too bad ken akamatsu didnt like give at least a story behind all of the charachters that arent really used, like zazie rainyday
lol there are 14-15 volumes in the manga and ive finished 13 and shes still not there (cept that one festival scene where she said hi to negi)

Its Zazie, Misora and Satsuki and Natsumi they dont really have anything on
